  Great Stay

  We stayed in the one bedroom suite for a month. Our suite was very clean with plenty of room and places to store our things. Breakfast was efficient. Pool, hot tub, grill, gym, and back deck were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was very flexible to individual needs. Would definitely stay again!

  Two weeks of comfort and good service

  This suite hotel was a wonderful place for my wife, the dogs and me to stay for a work assignment. The property is well maintained, comfortable and quiet. Pool and hot tub were perfect...and they have a fire pit/BBQ area. Kitchens are well stocked and functional...and the service does the dishes! A special commendation goes to Iachen tigui for his always pleasant demeanor, attention to customer satisfaction and obvious pride he takes in providing anything his guests might wish. Noelia was an efficient, pleasant and meticulous housekeeping member. Stay here, especially if you have dogs and are going to be in Hobbs for a day or a year. You will be pleasantly surprised at a wonderful property with carriage trade service for a regular property price. We'll be back

  Excellent!

  We were very happy with our stay at the TownePlace in Hobbs, NM. Rooms were large and comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast was excellent with an adequate offering of choices. Staff were universally pleasant and efficient. We stayed in Hobbs for our trip to Carlsbad and surrounding area. My experience is that the hotels in Carlsbad are usually a disappointment, so we didn't mind the extra driving time by headquartering in Hobbs. The TownePlace was an excellent choice. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

  nice weekend getaway

  $149.00 plus tax. not to bad for the room size, Beds were great. Breakfast great!!! Lots to choose from. Full kitchen including dishes and pots and pans. Beautifully decorated room, great exercise room and pool. nice for a honeymoon

  NOT PET FRIENDLY!!!!!!

  TWO BIG PROBLEMS....first I booked the senior rate online but never received a confirmation. I tried to book again, but the senior rate had magically disappeared. I called Marriott customer service for help. I could not understand most of what this person said. Turns out he booked a non-refundable rate for me instead of the senior rate. I called back to complain, but their phone system was not working so she could only log the complaint. She said they would reply but they did not. SECOND...they advertise a pet friendly hotel but they are not! They DO NOT say one word on their website about charging for pets. Their fee is $100. When I brought it to the clerks attention that their website says nothing about the fee, he said he knew that and has brought the issue to the managers attention, but nothing has been doing about correcting the problem. That almost doubled the cost of our room at $112. DO NOT STAY THERE!
