Thumbs up for the staffStayed there for a night and can only say good things about the staff - very friendly, helpful and warm. Specially the lady managing the breakfast - Super helpful and listened to our needs and helped us out. The staff is what covers other small shortcomings that might be there - smaller rooms, small breakfast area. Complementary breakfast was decent. It is located just couple minutes away from super markets and restaurants. If I would travel in that direction, I am certainly going to look at the hotel again.

Stay away!Things that made our stay unpleasant: - Hotel location is under the flight path of the nearby Burlington airport. Not a busy one, but still. you can hear the odd one too early in the morning or in one instance, at night. This airport is probably being used by the National Guard (or air force?) as there were numerous planes screaming overhead - Hotel was renovated in recent past, so the entrance is nice, and so is the dining room nearby, but step beyond carpeted corridors looked newer but were dirty and should be cleaned. Also, the corridors could benefit from better (any?) ventilation - Breakfast: not worth the effort of coming down to try it: Apple we tried was rotten. We ended up going to nearby shop and buying a few fresh ones. Pineapple/watermelon/cantaloupe pieces came from can of preserved fruits, with too much sugar and syrup (fruits are not sweet enough?) coffee was well below par, as were the coffee packets found in the room, especially the de-caffeinated one. Every self-respecting coffee shop will not dare offering that coffee (McDonalds excepted!) or it will be out of business pretty soon plain yogurt, without flavouring would have been very nice - Room: oh, boy, where do I start? noisy fridge hot, to the point of turning on the AC, in late October, in Vermont! cramped with not enough closet space kitchenette was reasonable, but not well stocked - have seen better if you wish to have a quiet night, expect some neighbourly surprises. In our case, in the was the adjoining room AC that was rattling all night. When we complained about it, maintenance claimed that nothing was found amiss, but the noise stopped! After the AC noise went away, we were dismayed to start hearing the adjacent room noise (music, talk, TV?) - seems there is absolutely no acoustic insulation in the wall carpet was in a very sorry state: dirty, falling apart where they were fixed (more like patched, and poorly so), faded phones not working, apparently a known issue that was not communicated Bottom line: for the exorbitant price we paid per night, we expected a much better level of accommodation and maintenance, as we didnt have a high expectation for breakfast. We were very disappointed with our stay, especially since we stayed in another Marriott property and enjoyed it very much - and their charges were significantly lower!

TownPlace Suites Burlington Williston Property Offers Best Value and Outstanding Evening Socials. The TownPlace Suites Marriott property rocks. This hotel rated an outstanding in six of six hotel business functions considered key for the business traveler: 1) customer-centric staff, 2) food management, 3) accommodations, 4) hotel technology, 5) exercise options, and 6) location. First, the hotel employs customer-centric employees. The hotel morning supervisorSamwas very kind and considerate during the check-in period. He recognized my Titanium Elite membership status and worked hard to ensure my room was ready. He demonstrated great consideration for my arrival and check-in. He also took the time to highlight the hotels weekly social events. Which are complimentary adult beverages and food. Best deal in town for a globe trotter. Second, the breakfast options standard fare. The breakfast staff was very professional and concerned with delivery. Thank you, Ramona who ensured the breakfast options were fresh and palatable. The Buffett-style breakfast opens at 6:00 a.m. during the weekday. She has an amazing gift for making strangers feel appreciated. Third, the room accommodations were classy, clean, and functional. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary toiletries were standard brands. The decor was modernized. A full kitchen was provided; except for a stove oven. Only a stove top. The coffee machine options were dark roast and decaf light. Water pressure was low. However, the shower presented no delay in generating hot water. Fourth, the hotel technology was up to date. Fast internet for free. The elevators required no secure card to access floors. I stayed on the top floor. Fifth, the hotels workout room was very clean; provided fresh work-out towels, sanitizer wipes, and sweat towels. Weights and treadmills available with decent channel selections. The filtered water-machine worked. Sixth, the hotel is located near diverse eateries and shopping options. Excellent choices within Uber distance. I will stay here again.

Thin walls but friendly staffI stayed here because the price was right and the location was perfect for a friend's wedding activities. The staff were certainly friendly and the room was nice, parking was easy. Things to consider... although our rooms did not have a common wall I could clearly hear the phone conversation the woman across the hall was having, quite clearly. She was not particularly loud, it wasn't a heated conversation, but I could follow along. Second, I was disappointed to find the used coffee filter in the coffee maker on my second day. It was my coffee filter otherwise I would have complained, but they dirty coffee cups in the sink should have clued the cleaning staff to check the coffee maker. I would stay there again, but ... points noted.

Friendly and helpful staffWe found the staff friendly and helpful even before we arrived, and were so throughout our stay. The room was equipped with all we needed. It was comfortable and clean. The health precautions in the midst of the COVID pandemic seemed appropriate and adhered to by guests.
