  Great Place, Great Value, Great Service

  Clean, airy standard room was upgraded at no extra charge when space became available to a 2-bedroom suite with kitchen and dining area through the gracious efforts of friendly reception staff. It may have been good fortune but It was exceptional in my experience to receive such service.

  Older hotel, but all the comforts you need

  Lets be real, youre not going to judge this place on the same standard as a place youve paid $200/night. The room felt like a converted dorm room in an older building in need of some updating/detailed maintenance. My room shower was in desperate need of caulking around the edge, but it was clean and the price was right for me. I was able to cook/sleep/shower comfortably during my stay. My fridge was going out so it could be noisy at times. The knob for my stove exhaust fan was broken so turning the fan on was difficult, but I was able to manage. Overall, I would recommend staying here for convenience and an acceptable replacement for home.

  Unbelievably rude staff

  I have never been to a hotel where the entire desk staff was rude. We called the hotel at 12pm and asked if we could check into our room 30 minutes earlier than check-in time, but if not there was no problem. The woman working the desk on June 1st was very short and ill tempered and curtly explained that she didn't have a room assigned for us yet and that checking in a half hour early was a huge inconvenience. We said thats not an issue and we would wait. When we showed up there was no one behind the desk and we had to wait for one of the cleaning staff (who was VERY friendly) to find the person working the desk. When we got to our room, there were no sheets on one of the beds. We called down to the front desk and the woman working the evening shift huffed LOUDLY into the phone and told us that she couldn't bring us sheets for a while. Again, we said this was no problem and that we wouldn't be back until after midnight so she had HOURS to complete this task. We get back to our room at 4am and there are still no sheets. I always stay at the Marriott and I have never been in a hotel where the desk staff was so unprofessional, lazy, and rude. The cleaning staff were the friendliest people we met there so perhaps the manager should consider giving them a promotion because they seem to be the only ones concerned with customer service. I will never stay in this hotel again and will be considering other hotel companies for future stays.

  Not as good as other TownePlace Suites

  Marriott hotels are generally my go To. For a TownePlace Suites I was a little surprised. The buildings (there are 2) are Definitely older. 2 maybe 3 floors. The room definitely had what we needed but looked old and run down. I got the feeling that TownePlace took this hotel over From somebody else- usually they seem modern, well maintained with a classy business feel. This location felt more long term rental with nobody to impress. Breakfast was included and it Was your standard breakfast - so I cant really complain. Doubtful that I would stay here again

  older hotel that has gone downhill

  Since I stayed here 6 years ago, the hotel has gone downhill quite a bit although they seem to be renovating it. The property is in rough shape. Our first room on the main floor had a strong smell of mold so we asked for a different room. The rooms are spacious and provide what you need so with a large family that was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful so that was a plus.
