  Amazing overnight stay, great value

  I spent a night in Reggio in late May on my way from Sicily to Rome because I wanted to see the Riace Bronzes. I found Townhouse Cavour on tripadvisor when looking for somewhere nice to stay near the station as I was taking the train to Rome next morning (fantastic journey, do it!). Townhouse Cavour is just amazingly good, and great value. Clean, modern room, beautifully decorated. Really comfortable bed, luxurious sheets and pillows. Fantastic waterfall shower in good-sized ultra-modern bathroom. Free wifi, huge satellite TV, Netflix, DVD library, internet. Giuseppe is a really nice guy who took me to a lively local bar for breakfast in the morning, then went to get me sandwiches and fruit for my train journey and didn't charge me for them. Service beyond the call of duty. I won't look at anywhere else when I next want to stay in Reggio.

  Excellent modern B&B

  Townhouse Cavour is centrally-located near the Duomo (cathedral) of Reggio di Calabria. This was the best B&B we have ever seen. It was spotlessly clean, modern, and the proprietor, Giuseppe, who spoke English, was very helpful. He was not only able to recommend a number of excellent nearby restaurants, but was also able to arrange transportation for us at reasonable prices. The internet connection was perfect, as was the tv, and the bathroom had a spacious, modern shower, normally difficult to find in Southern Italy. Building security was also excellent, and our room had an in-room safe. The archaeology museum was a 10 to 15 minute walk from our room, along a pleasant pedestrian-only street, and a small art museum was less than 5 minutes away. This is a great place to stay in Reggio!

  A jewel

  A wonderful boutique BnB in the heart of historic Reggio Calabria. I was surprised to find such a gem and at 11pm when I arrived in town. The owner Giuseppi met me on his motorcycle, I hopped aboard and we wound our way through the city to a lovely historic town next to a charming square. Four perfect suites with Frette towels and linen await in a very tastefully decorated room and huge rainfall shower. In the morning breakfast next door in a great coffee shop with fresh croissants....yum yum. If you are in this part of Italy it is worth a visit. Reggio Calabria has a special charm

  Perfect hotel with wonderful host

  We spent 3 nights in Reggio Calabria, and we really enjoyed the centrally located B&B. Its very modern and spacious, super clean, with top quality fixtures and linens. Host Giuseppe was fantastic- he took great care of us. He sent us to some great sights (Bova, Gerace, Scilla) and his restaurant recommendations were wonderful (Fratelli la Buffala, Piro Bistro, Le Vie del Gusto). Pay attention to instructions and call Giuseppe before you arrive so he can meet you and let you in.

  Magnificent

  What a fantastic experience. The rooms were brand new with the most fabulous shower, turn down service daily and... NETFLIX! The host Giuseppe was most definitely the best host I have ever had in a BNB and a hotel for that matter. My fiancé and I would not even call him a host, but rather a friend now. The location is in prime position, close to the beach and shops. Giuseppe was great with recommending where to go and what to do, so when you go, utilise his knowledge... he knows EVERYBODY! He truely made our trip to Reggio memorable. If you ever find yourself in Reggio I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful BNB.
