  EXTREMELY CLEAN BUDGET OPTION

  This motel, is a good budget option in the downtown area. The room was extremely clean, they are quite proud of this ranking, as it is posted in the lobby, along with their high ratings on this site, as well as expedia and hotels.com. The room was clean, as were the sheets and bathroom. The Towels were like sandpaper and the furniture was well worn. It was quiet at night and I saw no one, who would cause alarm. The motel just felt as it had no character whatsoever.

  The staff was so friendly and helpful, but it is a very dated and dingy motel. It was noisy being so close to the interstate, which might bother some people. If I was rating on staff alone, I would give 5 stars.

  Nice affordable clean place to stay!

  My husband and I went to see Metallica in Birmingham and needed an affordable place to stay. This was the best price around and turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy and the ac/heat worked GREAT! The room was very clean and was a 1.3 mile walk to BJCC Center where the concert was. It was a great experience. The motel is a little outdated, but that didn't bother us at all. Cleanliness, comfort, and affordability are our top priorities. Thanks for a great visit.

  The reception was nice. Room seemed clean, bed comfy. Parking right outside your door. It was quiet for most of the night, we did hear a bit of traffic, but not much. Refrigerator and microwave. Close to downtown

  Clean, convenient, and affordable lodging

  I was in town for a concert at The Saturn music venue, and I was looking for a convenient, but clean and affordable hotel for the night I was in town. I found the Tourway, and it had everything I was looking for. It was only a short 10 minute drive from the venue, and it was VERY clean and nicely equipped. The gentleman at the front desk that checked me in was very friendly, and the process was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a clean and affordable room in Birmingham.
