Could be betterWe booked this hotel after looking on the website at the reviews people had posted, we stayed in Tivoli last year, so I had a fair idea where I was going, arriving at about 5-30 in the town it was bumper to bumper, after manoeuvring through the town we arrived at the hotel , driving up a steep hill towards the hotel we could hardly find a parking space, once we went into the hotels reception, the place was very busy with wedding guests, everything good so far , we checked in , went to our room, got changed and headed into town. The only plus I can give this hotel for our remaining 4 days was the pool area and the views looking over Tivoli , the negatives were dated rooms, needing refurbished ASAP.The plumbing system was very as well , having no water at 7am. Not enough staff for the bar, restaurant was never open, pool toilets were very poorly maintained. It felt at times it was a ghost hotel , on the only occasion we asked for two coffees and two pastries, I had to go to the breakfast area after the reception phoned the kitchen, once the coffees were ready the waiter gave me the tray and I headed back down to the pool area with our coffees, NOT great hotel service, will we stay here again , I dont think so, as for a 4 star , maybe 3 star.

Good and BadThe view is great. Way out of town up a mountain. No a/c. No WiFi. No English TV station. Restaurant closed. Couldnt lock the safe. Breakfast was great. No apologies for lack of AC or WiFi. Since the restaurant was closed, the nearest food was down a mountain into town. Twisty and narrow. Not convenient. The staff didnt care. No eating outdoors since it was raining. I wouldnt go back.

Very avarage, no food and drinks on Sunday evening.Nice location with excelent view, pool was nice but with cold water which was no added value in the middle of October. Free parking was an added value. No food and no drinks were availables outside of breakfast hours (we arrived on Sunday evening), so we had to drive to the town, where you have to pay for parking. Hotel interior is nice, but the room was well under 4 stars, very avarage with badly working shower. Breakfast was again well in the range of 3 star hotels, evarage in all respects.

Perfect Choice for Tourists but...Perfect Choice for Tourists but... In this Hotel, the tourists have many comforts in the rooms and in the public areas. The rooms are clean but the design is not up to date. Which is ok. because it is an old building. The bedroom is functional and doesn't always have a panoramic view. Although, one morning i woke up to donkeys outside my window. The bathroom is clean but the lighting is quite dim and the towels are very clean. The food in this hotel is typical tourist food and for me it was not what i expected from this hotel. The food was not bad but not very authentically italian. What else? The view of Tivoli was incredible and i believe on a clear day tou can see Rome! The location of this hotel was beautiful but in order too reach Tivoli you had to walk a long a busy road!

Heaven for touristsI visited this hotel as a group for a conference. Truth is that it was my first time having a hotel room to myself so that in itself was exciting! The hotel is in a beautiful location. Dont expect food other than when meals are served. Before leaving Rome, I stocked up on snacks to have in the room. Also, I took a bottle of water. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim but there is a beautiful pool! As for the food, the guilty pleasure seeker in me didnt mind the food because it was greasy and fatty but definitely not authentic Italian in any way. The lunch was buffet style but it was definitely more of a random selection than anything innately Italian. All in all I didnt dislike my experience at this hotel but Im not sure Id go out of my way to stay here unless I had to.
