  Located on the edge of Banchory, this lovely country house is surrounded by a garden of majestic trees. Plenty of space in the room, lovely big and comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. Lots of choice at breakfast - scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, soft boiled eggs and toast soldiers, delicious coffee, a perfect veggie cooked breakfast, a rack of toast....only sad we didnt stay for a few more nights to try the eggs benedict, French toast and the porridge! Lovely staff, very welcoming in these weird times. Covid measures well thought out, freely available hand sanitizer, felt safe.

  Lovely stay

  Enjoyed a one night stay here. We upgraded our room choice and it was well worth it. We were allocated room number 4, a large bedroom area with sofa, we also had a separate dressing area, and extra large shower room with double shower and twin sinks, there was access to a balcony too. We enjoyed our evening meal, a varied and good choice of menu. Breakfast was excellent in the morning, would recommend the eggs benedict. The hotel is in nice gardens and a short walk into town. Staff are doing a fantastic job during difficult times. The hotel is spotless clean and adhering to covid safety. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

  A Great Night Away

  We came to stay 1 night from Aberdeen, to have dinner with some friends and spend the night. What a lovely stay! From the start, the welcome was warm and friendly. Our room (7) was great, with a very cosy bed. Breakfast was delicious (as was dinner but I'll leave that for a separate review), and check out was simple. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, and you could really appreciate how hard everyone was working to make it a great atmosphere and really covid-safe. Thanks for a great little break from reality, and we will be back for sure!

  Absolutely amazing

  I had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights ( dinner bed and breakfast ) and I can honestly say it was fantastic. From the moment I arrived nothing was too much trouble. The service is exceptional as is the food. Spoiled for choice. Highly thoroughly recommend for lunch, dinner, an overnight...... fabulous. The staff are very very welcoming and you can see why its so popular.

  A takeaway delight

  We had a takeaway from one weekend for a wee treat and it was. Ordered online then drove up to collect. Sat in car & the food was put into the back seat & off home we went. On opening at home, it was still piping hot and very tasty - a lovely tasty American pizza & a Mac n Cheese, both very good, service excellent.
