  Poorly Managed

  Not too sure how this hotel received such a high rating. It's extremely old and not very accommodating. I booked the hotel knowing we would arrive late after a long trip. The hotel is hidden so being unfamiliar with the area, it took is a while to find (my navigation skills may be lacking). The parking lot is very poorly lit. After checking in and being told there were no rollaway beds, get get to the room where air condition is non-existent. Not because they didn't advertise it. After asking about this, the clerk tells me it's out in the entire building we were in and there were no other rooms available. This would have been great to know prior to luggaging all our stuff to the room. Now it is after midnight and due to medical conditions, air was needed. We finally found a really nice hotel that was more than willing to accommodate us. We had to lug our bags back to the car, load up and travel another 30 minutes. I was also told I would get a call from the manager the next day. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't received that call.

  Nice and comfy hotel

  Spent two nights on a business trip. Situated in a residential area, far from the city center. No view to speak of. Took me almost an hour to get back from the center at night by public transportation. Room was nice, quite big, good bathroom and shower. The TV was a minus - small and almost no foreign channels. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and helpful.

  Cosy hotel

  is a cosy hotel , very comfortable. nothing much to complain. Just far from the train station , estimated 1.5km away from the train station. There is a kiosk opposite the hotel. Breakfast is quite normal. Price reasonable

  Loved The Pool & Sauna

  I visited Germany in the middle of the heat wave and it was fantastic to find this hotel in the Rahlstedt area with a swimming pool and sauna, the area is well kept and they also have a gym. The reception staff was really nice and helpful. When I booked the Hotel through Orbitz, it advertised as an air conditioning facility beware, it is not. They have heating but no cooling. The staff nicely gave me an electric fan and I know it does not compare, but I really appreciated the gesture. The WiFi is very deficient, it rarely works in the room, but it was fine in the aisle by the room or at the reception. I go back to the wellness center, I was delighted to have a chance to cool down after long days of exploration. They also have a restaurant and serve breakfast at additional cost. You will have a mini fridge, and the hotel is conveniently located along public transportation lines.

  Great suburb hotel

  Stayed the night while driving through Germany. Very comfortable rooms, good parking, nice, modern and very clean in general. The breakfast buffet is also good. The adjacent restaurant is fantastic with delicious food.
