  Mediocre tourist room without a view in a noisy and charmless place

  N21°56'45.78" E120°47'46.43" On the junction opposite the gate of the Kenting Forest Recreation Area behind several footstalls, youll find the entrance of this hotel. This is the best part of the hotel. It has a spacious lobby with coin-operated internet computers and non-English-speaking reception. Wi-Fi in the room isnt available. Our room (no. 325) had two queen size beds and view on a concrete wall one meter away. The airco worked fine. Coin-laundry is available. Dirty restaurant serves a strange mix of continental en Chinese breakfast. On Friday the hotel fills up with families with young children and lot of college students to enjoy the Kenting beaches. At night the street becomes a poor version of a night market. The hotel lacks maintenance and proper cleaning. Staff isnt up to the job. What do you expect of a hotel that fills up for the weekend with beach lovers? Not recommended.

  Doesn't deserve such little credit

  We were assigned room 130. Even though quite noisy, the room was at least 600 sq ft and had a window facing the carpark. My friend and I had a double bed each (I had two single beds put together which I had fun falling in between). I noticed that other rooms were a little smaller but they looked like your decent Hilton or Westin, and this is only less than 2000 TWD (US$66). Yes, it's noisy. But it's an awesome value. The ceilings were high. Breakfast wasn't really good but again your average Sheraton isn't much better.

  Travel around taiwan

  The worst hotel service I have ever experienced. The front desk staff did not greet or even look raise their heads s to greet us. Worst among the seven hotels we have stayed. The rooms are not well managed. The only reason this hotel survived is due to its location to the park entrance. It left the worst image to me about Taiwan.

  Basic hotel, room is ok, noisy, but next to the beach and night market

  We had a large room here with seaview for two nights. It is noisy but not so expensive as the other hotels here. Reception desk staff is great and go out of their way to please you. Breakfast has limited choice, but tasteful sandwiches. Location is good, next to the beach and at the starting point of the extremely crowded night market. The beach here is still rather undeveloped.

  Rude treatment of restaurant staff, not a child friendly restaurant !

  Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Two middle aged ladies working in the restaurant gave their worst treatment to us and our baby. We dropped by this place for a lunch in Kending. We were a large crowd of more than 40. When we arrived, I saw houseflies on the set of spoons on the table. I took the spoons to them and ask whether we could run the spoons in water but they flatly pointed that the toilet was behind me. My baby played with the "Reserved" card and dropped it on the floor. Midway when we were having our meal, I was requested by their staff to pick the card and handover to them. When I passed the card to her, she told her colleague, aloud, "They really spoilt the card!" Before we exited the restaurant, my husband and I changed our baby's diapers at a far corner in the restaurant. We were fast and made sure we tidied up everything after the change. It was a normal diaper change and not a poo-poo event. Before, during, and after the change, the lady and her colleague were scolding us in Min-nan language profusely and loudly banging the utensils. We understood their language but I guess they couldn't care less whether we understood or otherwise. We feel belittled and ill-treated. Please stay out of this horrible restaurant. We deserve an apology !
