  Perfecto

  Nos alojamos durante dos días aquí, todo perfecto. La casa y la habitacion están muy limpias, el staff encantador ayudan en todo lo que necesites. La habitación es grande, wifi, a/con, sofá...el baño nuevo con todo lo necesario. Es una habitación por planta, es muy tranquilo por las noches se oye algo de ruido pero apenas de la gente que se pierde más bien..todo a un paso, es mágico. El desayuno abundante y variado a la hora que quieras lo dices y te lo tienen preparado. Lo único dar con el la primera vez, luego es muy fácil. Repetiré sin duda si alguna vez vuelvo.

  Buena situación dentro del Palacio Diocleciano

  El hostal está muy bien situado y aunque al principio parece difícil de encontrar enseguida coges el truco y llegas fácilmente, la limpieza es muy buena y las habitaciones son amplias y en perfecto estado, el baño muy amplio con secador de pelo y artículos de aseo, no hay ascensor por lo que hay que subir las maletas por las escaleras, nosotros en la primera planta no tuvimos problema, el desayuno le sirven en la recepcion en una mesa grande que tienen de mármol, te dicen a qué hora le quieres y cuando bajas tienes todo lo necesario y más para tomar un buen desayuno ( embutidos, fruta fresca, zumos, café, mermeladas, pan, yogures, cereales.....) personal muy amable, hay wifi que funciona correctamente, por poner una pega en la que el hotel no tiene nada que ver , las campanas que suenan desde las 6 de la mañana y se oyen muchísimo, por lo demás todo perfecto, hemos quedado muy satisfechos con este alojamiento

  Excellent Place to Stay

  Good sizes rooms with comfy beds right inside Diocletian's Palace! Everything as it should be for an upmarket B&B, but lots of stairs. I was on the 4th floor and the rooftop view from the bathroom window alone was worth the climb. Make sure that you ring ahead to be met and escorted to the hotel and take careful note of how to get to it from the Forum. The Palace area is remarkable but it's easy to loose your way!

  Split Hotel

  Wonderfully located in Split with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. A few steps outside the hotel puts you in the middle of all the action, restaurants and a museum. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast in the morning. People challenged by steps may want to avoid this hotel.

  DAILY 6AM CHURCH BELLS

  We stayed three nights in a room with two single beds, but only one of two nightstands had access to an electric outlet to charge phones. Wed requested a quiet, upper floor room but even from the 4th floor our sleep was disturbed by people shouting outside and guests returning to the hotel very late at night. Every morning the nearby church bells would ring at 6AM for almost two minutes! One morning, they rang at 6AM and 7AM. While the building walls are thick, the windows and door aren not insulated for sound. The bathroom was spacious with counter space and basic toiletries shampoo, shower caps, and soap provided. Even with GPS and the Apple and Google Maps Apps it was very confusing to find the apartment from the ferry landing. 30 minutes later we finally called Toni to rescue us and we were just one minute from the hotel. Once we arrived he kindly carried our bags up to our 4th floor room. As we left for dinner, he showed us The Basement. Its the basement souvenir shop arcade of the palace which leads you to the Riva promenade and other areas of the town. Self service Breakfast was sad. There was no ice for the yoghurt or fruit drinks, half the cheese had melted into the plate so I didnt dare try the ham, the boiled eggs were sliced in half and dried out. There was sandwich bread but no local pastries. Coffee had coffee grinds at the bottom. Was grateful for the fresh bananas and peaches. On our third and final morning, we were surprised by other guests requesting omelets and scrambled eggs with their breakfast as we were never offered eggs. We had an early morning tour and the hotel kindly placed a breakfast bag into our refrigerator the day before- two industrial chocolate croissants, two bananas, two kiddie juice packs and two chemical smelling ham and cheese sandwiches. Wasnt sure if the overpowering smell came from the sandwich or the paper napkin it was wrapped. The location is central and great, the hotel has potential, soundproof your windows and doors, properly chill drinks and yoghurt, provide fewer higher quality food, and if youre offering hot foods tell us and put up a menu like our hotel in Dubrovnik did. There are so many bakeries in Split selling delicious but reasonably priced stuffed borekas and local pastries so buy your bread the night before or the morning of and enjoy them at the hotel. The reception staff was friendly but rarely present. They kindly kept our bags at reception until our flight. The hotel office is in the building on the left side of the hotel entrance. It was nice having two card keys for the room.
