  Fabulous relaxing time

  We arrived on Toberua, kicked off our shoes and didn't put them on again for the rest of the stay. This was our second trip as a family and we just love the island and the staff who make each stay such a delight. This is the most relaxing, friendly place where the real luxury is the beauty of the island, the smiles of the staff and the joy of being so laid back the only decisions are what to eat, what cocktail to have made by Zach the wonderful barman or what song to request from Toberua's amazing band. We loved celebrating New Year on the island and it was a great start to 2020

  Toberua island resort holiday Xmas 2019

  A real gem of an island. The staff are wonderful and really make you feel like you are part of the family. Such a nice place to unwind and do as little or as much as you want. Kayaks and snorkel gear is available to use for free any time, the resort gives you a daily activity sheet if you want to participate (most are free but things such as village tours or trips to the mainland or scuba diving are an additional cost) the sea is as warm as bath water, the pool is very nice to chill by with a book. The food is very nice and a staff member will come looking for you during the day with a menu for you to choose what you want for lunch and dinner (normally 2 or 3 choices per course). You can choose to opt for a set price per day for all of your meals but we just opted for a la carte as we didn't want breakfast and two 3 course meals every day.. I'd have had to work all of that off somehow! I loved how they announce meal times by drumming the 'dinner log'! I can't recommend this island enough, its great value when compared to other resorts on the other side of Viti Levu and is fantastic if you have kids as you can let them roam free with no worries yet is quiet enough for couples (as we were) to enjoy a relaxing holiday without feeling like you're in the middle of 'kids club'.

  Family holiday

  Staff and food are excellent but the upkeep maintenance needs focus. The friendly staff and sumptuous food just needs to backed up by the repairs and maintenance budget as the assets are starting to show neglect.

  Great start to 2020

  When you are tired, learnt to rest - not quit! And REST (and relax) we did on the beautiful island of Toberua. Toberua Island Resort, where you are warmly welcomed, and get to enjoy and experience island hospitality at its finest, from the wonderful bure (accommodation)interiors, the breathtaking scenery & oceanviews, enjoyable food and with bula smiles everyday from very friendly and helpful staff, an island paradise definitely to be put on anyone's bucket list if you want to experience total bliss!

  a lovely little island

  a lovely little island with every imaginable amenity, 14 acres at high tide, 36 acres at low tide and surrounded by sea snakes that come ashore at night & lurk in the bushes. Herpetologists will be ecstatic there.
