  Not worth its stars

  Cant say much good about this hotel... it may be close to the airport but I know that there is one closer (whether it is a better one I do not know) and the coffee is free but there ends the good review... the pictures show a cosy hotel but it is far from it... we had room 16, with a busy road and the parking lot in front of us, the internet connection is worth nothing and the food had me visit the bathroom all night. Mke sure you have earpluggs cause you hear the road and the neighbouring rooms... the room had a very hospital feel to it!

  Motel with excellent rooms

  This place is a roadside motel with all that it means. However, the hotel rooms are very nice with excellent beds, clean and very nice. So as far as using this place as a hotel, it is very good. The food, however, is typical roadside food. Pre-fab burgers and lots of fast food. Breakfast is sufficient, nothing special but you'll find something that you are used to. I enjoyed my night of sleep here and the view of the Tjeldsundsbroa, but it is not a place to go to for a romantic dinner. An excellent pit stop to recharge the batteries.

  Short but pleasant stay

  We only had a short overnight stay but it was a pleasant experience. Had to check-in after 10pm, but someone was there to make this process quick and easy. The room was clean and was a decent size and had a lovely view of the fjord and bridge. Breakfast was satisfying and had a range of options. I was a bit worried after the reviews I read on here, but we had nothing negative to say except that it was quite expensive, but then again that is Norway! I would stay here again if I was in the area.

  Good stop

  I picked this property due to it's location just at the Tjeldsund Bridge. It was easy to find. Parking was just in front of the hotel, large and free. There is a convenient store on site too. Check in was fast. My room was downstairs at the end of a long corridor but the view towards the bridge and some waterfront cabin was great. The room was comfortable. Not basic but not luxurious either. There was a kettle, coffee and tea. No bar/fridge. There was a large screen TV but no English channels. They just happened to have some English programs. There was a table and some armchairs. The bathroom was clean and toiletries was supplied. The bed was very comfortable with large pillows. The wifi was good. Breakfast was good enough. The restaurant in the hotel serves ok meals. Disliked the stairs though not a lot of them. I had heavy luggage. So I just took a few items to the room. The heater was not strong but the comforters were warm enough. No English channels like news.

  Location

  It was our first night arriving to visit Lofoten. Our flight landed at EVE airport 6:30pm. We dont want to drive in dark and choose this hotel for overnight stay. We are happy with everything: clean, warm room, good breakfast, nice staffs. The morning walking around was nice as well. The hotel was on expensive side.
