  Staff was not friendly

  Hotel Tivoli is located in the center of Luanda 10 km from the International Airport. It is a 3 star hotel. When I was in Luanda in a business trip in 2007, the rooms were very basic with old furniture, one bathroom, a closed, an old TV, a phone, a small bar and there were no Internet connection. Although clean I didn´t like the room. This was my second experience with hotels in Luanda on the same trip because the first one (Hotel Mundial) was terrible. The problem was that all the good hotels were full. First negative impact I had in this Hotel was on the reception service, the staff was not very friendly, actually they were extremely arrogant and second the expensive rate they charged per night did not correspond to the facilities and service they offer. Maybe they have change over the last years. The food was ok and I liked the view from the top Floor of the hotel for the Cape and Island Bay of Luanda.

  Rooms recently renovated

  This hotel is very well located, above the much more expensive Epic Sana, and just below the Tropico, on the same Rua da Missao. In a city where hotel rates are prohibitive, it was a relief to find this well renovated middle range hotel with an acceptable price (US$ 300 when most hotels cost more than 400). Room was perfect, clean and vast, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom convenient and modern. Staff understands some English. No boiler in the room, and asking the waiter to bring hot water in your room may prove expensive. Still good value for the location and for the quality of the room.

  Hotel in business center

  Its a hotel in the center of Luanda and close to the major financial services. For person who travel in a business plan is very good. The Internet is very bad in my stay.The Breakfast is very poor but have expresso coffe for free.

  Hotel review

  The rooms are nice and clean, the bathroom is new and in a good size. The restaurant is not good,the service is bad and the waiters don't care. There is a bar at the ground floor, that is okay but expensive. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood so you can walk alone in the evening, without problems.

  Big Room

  The staff is friendly, but the entrance in the Hotel is a little scary. The room and bathroom was big, clean and comfortable. The problem was the Wifi, i couldn't get it in the room, low signal. In the lobby the signal was better.
