Had great potencial but was disapointingWe stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. I will start with the pros: Walking distance to the beach and surf spots Berawa, Old man and Echo beach Spacious and clean Small kitchen (hot boiling water, fridge and microwave, cuttlery, no stove) Yoga classes and a good simple warung (indonesian small restaurant) next door Accept credit card for payment WiFi Good air con Quiet at night Cons: We've been given only 2 towels for 2 adults and 2 kids and we had to keep asking for everything reminding staff to supply tissues, toilet paper, water and our breakfast one morning! Breakfast was ok (eggs, bacon, jaffle/toastie) but no other options for juice or fruits, we've been given watermelon juice and watermelon fruit every morning for 5 days. With such fruit abundance in Bali it wouldn't be too hard to provide customers with a bit of variety. Mosquito net only in one bed. Bar drinks and snacks were never re-stocked the whole time we were there (5 days). Construction right next door, but that didn't bother us. Apart from the little warung next door there are no other walking distance places to eat. Bath couldn't be used because it would take a couple of hours to fill. Outdoor shower had much better water pressure but no light, we had to leave the bathroom window open so we could see while having shower at night. The biggest disappointment was the water in the pool. It had so much chlorine that burned our skin and eyes. It was awful! Specially for my daughters. After complaining he called the 'swimming pool specialist' that left a hose running into the pool for 2 minutes that made no difference whatsoever! So we spent 5 days in this villa and couldn't use the pool! Overall: It was particularly hard for us having poor service because we were traveling with kids and my wife was quite sick for 3 days while we were there. Although staff were very apologetic it was the worse customer service we had in Bali. We felt like the owners or managers were away. And staff smoking in the lobby/reception wasn't pleasant specially when you have your kids around. Note most of the cons could be easily fixed with a better customer service and minor renovations. I hope this review/feedback will help owners to improve because is such a beautiful villa and great location, a pity we didn't have a good experience.

Thank you Tirtarum villasNice place to stay with family and enjoying friendly service. The swimming pool was so enjoyable to dip into. Quite and tranquile. Short walk from the beach away from hustle and bustle of Kita beach. Just a perfect place to enjoy family holiday, as my kids love it too. If you wasn't to have a quiete family holiday on the beach, friendly athmosphere, comfortable and clean accommodation then you have find the place.

Good valueMy wife and I stayed five nights in one of the villas and really enjoyed having a whole villa (two floors), garden and private pool! You could tell that the villa was a little old but it is still functional even if it does not have the same finish as it must have had when new. Unfortunately, the sun didn't reach our garden and sun loungers until after 11 am. and they had some problems with ants and other insects in the villa (we kept all things edible in the fridge to avoid having a myriad of ants on it) but I imagine that is hard to get rid of. Most of other pros and cons have been mentioned in previous reviews but unlike some other reviewer we used the bathtub (didnt take longer to fill than a normal one), we had light by the outdoor shower and we got different kind of fruits and juices (but during our 2 week stay in Bali we seldomly got very goodtasting fruit, at Tirtarum, nor elsewhere). Regarding the breakfast they had some good alternatives to choose from but if we ordered the breakfast for 8 am, they would knock on our door 5 or 10 past to ask if we were ready and THEN start to prepare it! The fourth day we got it half an hour late, but by then they understood that we were unhappy so the last day we actually got it almost on time. Generally, the staff seemed a little reluctant but was ready to help when asked (and we found them). They helped us rent both scooter and a car with really good rates.

Quiet locationVilla is traditionally furnished, comfortable and pool was clean. More crockery and utensils could be useful. It is a quiet location just up from beach, warungs and bars and cafes are about 15 minute walk by road or 3 mins by beach. Easy to travel around on pushbike. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is okay, but you have to order the night before and give a time which can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Villa for relaxing!Spending weekend time with beloved friends here was so fun. Its located close wt echo beach, one of our nice spot to enjoy the sunset! Besides, There are many cozy resto and bars approx 5 minutes drives. This villa also has a kitchen, sometimes we cook our dishes if lazy going out. Thank you Tirta arum.
