  Great stay

  We had a week stay here in October following a week in a luxury resort in Orlando, I must say that we enjoyed Timberwoods more. The accommodation was excellent with everything you needed at hand, large living room, well equipped kitchen, very large master bedroom, good sized second bedroom & 2 (quite small) bathrooms. The screened off patio area only overlooked some trees but these had exotic birds in them sometimes. The communal swimming pool is open from 9 am to 10pm & there is a heated jacuzzi . There are also other leisure amenities but we didn't use them. The villa is very convenient for the fabulous beaches nearby, Siesta Key is stunning, but the whole coast is wonderful. Sarasota has lots to do - thoroughly recommend the "Le Barge" dolphin watch tour, also St Armands circle for shopping & dining. Marie Selby gardens are a must, & Ringling Circus museum is really good & has fabulous bayside gardens (like Marie Selby). Further up the coast Johns Pass Boardwalk is brilliant,(it is close to Treasure Island) sit & watch the boats sail under the drawbridge whilst eating your lunch, and Robinsons Preserve near Bradenton is great for a hike (up to 5 miles). We would definitely return here if at all possible. Thanks to Teresa for a wonderful stay Visiting from England.

  Great place fantastic service

  My wife and I had to find somewhere in a hurry to stay because of Irma, we were not having too much luck until we phone Teresa - she was amazing, very helpful and within 10 mins had found us a wonderful villa at Timberwoods. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well presented and very convenient for shops, beaches and sight seeing in and around Sarasota. I would highly recommend Timberwoods for short or long term stays.

  Fantastic Stay

  We stayed at one of the duplexes which came with 2 bedrooms , kitchen, living room, garage etc. All recently renovated. Very nice!! Short walk to an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Very quiet and relaxing after a day at Siesta Key Beach! Would highly recommend to anyone.

  We Keep Coming Back!

  We have stayed there for 3 years in a row, and each year the management (the amazing Teresa) goes out of her way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. It's spotlessly clean and each villa is well-appointed. Very conveniently located, in quiet, pleasant, park-like surroundings, great for bird-watching. Nice pool, and it's great to have an attached garage for the car, as well as a screened lanai for sipping something cool while savoring the thought that we're here and not up North.

  Excellent Stay

  I stayed here during the holidays with my wife and three young children as part of a larger family reunion where each family unit had their own villa, and it worked out very well. Our villa was nicely appointed and in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped and I appreciated the pool noodles and kickboards for the children. It is a quiet place and the people we ran into were friendly. The pool was warm (thank goodness!) and the hot tub was nice and hot. The grill area was nice, although the club house could have had some nicer seating areas inside. While there was always plenty of room on the pool deck, tennis courts were sometimes full. The location is near plenty of restaurants and shopping areas. Siesta Key is a short easy drive. It was great for my kids to have their own bedroom, and I definitely would consider staying here again. The only significant downside was the lack of a fitness center which would have been nice but certainly not a deal breaker.
