A warm welcomeA beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. Tigh na Sgiath hotel was a delightful find. Iain and Elaine are the lovely , welcoming owners. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable . All needs are catered for. The choices for breakfast were amazing. We both couldnt resist the full Scottish breakfast which lived up to its name! The previous evening we chose drinks from a huge choice of whiskies. Low and non -alcoholic drinks were also available. We had booked for bed and breakfast this visit but look forward to dining there on our next visit. This hotel is highly recommended .

Beautiful houseThe hotel is lovely, the room was huge with a four poster bed and the bathroom had a jacuzzi! Breakfast was one of the best ones we had during our Scotland trip, the porridge was so good! We would definitely return if we were in the area.

5 stars - just perfectThanks to Iain & Elaine, we had a fabulous weekend. The room was so beautiful, lovely house and gardens. Having had all holidays cancelled in 2020, we really needed a break and this was just what we needed. Close to lots of attractions, theres plenty options to fill your days, with luxurious surroundings to relax in the evenings.

Home from HomeAfter trying to find accomodation in every hotel & B&B in the area someone recommended this, and what a gem it proved to be. I'm only sorry we missed the afternoon tea and dinner, which had been highly recommended, we'll just have to come back after the covid restrictions are lifted. Despite the Covid restrictions in place it all worked really well as the house lends itself to safe distancing with two lounges and two dining rooms, our bedroom was huge, with a large en suite bathroom including a jacquzzi bath.Great view from the window overlooking the garden and the bird feeders so we could check out the red squirrels. Our hosts made us feel very welcome like guests in their own home, the house itself is steeped in history which Iain enlightened us about. nearby Grantown on Spey is a lovely town and convenient for the coast and Aviemore, great for walks. We visited in september so got some of the fantastic Autumn colours. If you are considering this as an option, it comes highly recommended from us!!

A definite must to put on your listHad a really lovely stay, the building is so well kept and presented and the service is more than 5 stars. We had every need attended too including a complimentary bottle of bubbles (not sure if everyone gets that) cannot praise the owners enough for making our stay so special.
