Dapper & Diva!We attended the Smith & Ostermann wedding at The Tidewater Inn on August 29, 2020. We did not stay at the hotel but what a fantastic venue! Its location is perfect to enjoy all of the conveniences of Easton, MD. The Tidewater Inn is located in the heart of downtown on the corner of N. Harrison St. and Dover St. and is catty-corner to Bannings Tavern...an excellent choice for dinner! We loved that there was plenty of parking behind the hotel. Such a relief...free parking is hard to come by in downtown Easton. I highly recommend The Tidewater Inn if youre looking for a beautiful & historic lodging experience to accommodate your family and guests from out-of-town. With years of history and tons celebrities, politicians and athletes that have stayed here such as; Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Bing Crosby, Joan Rivers, Dionne Warwick, Whoopie Goldberg, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, John & Robert Kennedy, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Johnny Unitas and Venus & Serena Williams...you will feel honored to walk the same floors as they did in this adorable Eastern Shore Hotel. It was a distinct privilege to help celebrate the marriage of Christian & Liz here at The Tidewater Inn! Their beautiful ceremony was held in the Gold Ballroom courtyard at the rear of the hotel with a private entrance from Harrison Street. A beautiful sail cloth tent featured Thomas Edison string style lighting to set the mood and gave the courtyard lots of ambience. The area also featured a large antique bar and two fireplaces. The lovely white chairs were padded for comfort and arranged for social distancing. The Gold Ballroom itself featured warm dim-yellow lighting, large windows, high ceilings, a long bar for serving up spirits and a herringbone pattern parquet flooring. What a elegant room for dinner parties and dancing! Congratulations to The Tidewater Inn for winning the readers choice awards for Best Event Space and Best Reception Venue in the Sept/Oct 2020 issue of Coastal Style Magazine! Cheers! It was lovely visiting here!

Darling visitIf you research the Tidewater Inn, in Easton, on Maryland's Eastern Shore, and if you're a fan of super-luxurious hotels, as I am, you may be daunted by the website. Let me just say, after a three night stay, I've totally loved the experience and will be back. The hotel was built in the late 1940s, not a time of glorious architecture and/or design, but it's been recently upgraded. Love the decor, the beds are great, you can still get a bathtub if you ask outright (most hotel upgrading projects totally delete bathtubs in favor of big showers). The staff is wonderful. You're in the heart of town, so you can walk everywhere. And even my cozy "classic" room, the only one I could get with a tub instead of shower (ironically the front desk receptionist upgraded me at check-in to a room that, alas, was shower-only so we had to sort out that gracious gesture). Darling hotel. The adjacent restaurant/bar also lovely. Recommend highly, in this quirky small town.

AMAZING INN AND AMAZING STAFFI can NOT say enough great things about our stay here this weekend. From my phone call with Julie booking our stay, to checking in yesterday with Julie, she was the most kind, sweet, professional, and helpful person I have had the pleasure to meet. The hotel itself is charming, and Julie and the other staff were so friendly and accommodating. We brought our dogs, and Julie gave us homemade dog biscuits made right at the hotel!!! Our room was BEAUTIFUL and sparkling clean!! If you are looking for a relaxing stay at a quaint Inn with impeccable staff, book your stay here!!!

Quaint, old hotel with old rooms.Room 421 overlooking the front street. 1947 built hotel. Elegant lobby and furnishings. However, the rooms were not modern but what did I expect? The thermostat did not work and there were no user instructions posted. It was 10pm when I discovered this and did not want anyone coming to the room at that time. The small bathroom was clean but older looking in the style of the hotel. A vanity sink with minimum space for toiletries. The shower head and previous sink water lines were in bad shape. I prefer a more updated hotel. There was no coffee maker in the room due to covid rules but the front desk did not provide options that were available. I found out upon checkout that they could give me a coffee maker or carafe filled with coffee upon request. The restaurant looked fabulous and the menu was great. Did not have the opportunity to try it.

Wedding at Tidewater Inn Easton MDNice place. Quaint town. Parking in back of the building and there is parking in town with meters. (Not much parking in the back of the building). Old building but done up tastefully inside. Food was good. Staff very diligent about wearing masks. Bottles of hand sanitizer all over. Everything was clean. They do have hotel rooms but we did not stay there. (Their crabcakes our doerves are delicious!!!)
