  LOVED IT!

  My wife & I stayed here last week and absolutely loved it! Its spotlessly clean and so peaceful and quiet, just what you need to recharge the batteries! Would highly recommend for all looking for a relaxing stay.

  Great quiet relaxing nights stay

  I booked Thorpe Thewles Lodge for one night. I was contacted by telephone before my stay to confirm what time i would be checking in and asked if i required breakfast. I received a further text message with directions. I advised i would be arriving late evening to which there was no issue. The B&B is on a farm and up a rugged path. Its very dark and as i had a very heavy downpour on my arrival i missed the turnoff for the access path. This was pure fault of my own as the directions provided by text were accurate. Once i arrived i was greeted by John who was very welcoming. He showed me to my room and advised how i would be able to obtain a meal for the evening. The room was very nice, clean and had coffee making facilities, ironing board iron and fresh towels. The TV also has Netflix which is an added bonus. I had a lovely quiet comfortable stay and would recommend it to anyone.

  Hot tub break

  Myself & wife have just stayed here and absolutely loved it abd the extra bonus was it was right on our doorstep! Room was tastefully decorated & immaculately clean. The hot tub garden was very romantic & amazing! Would highly recommend to everyone.

  Quiet night away

  Came here last weekend, what a lovely place, we found the place quite easily, we were greeted by a lovely lady on arrival, the room was immaculate, the hot tub are was lovely, all private it was so peaceful, would deffo visit again

  Adequate

  It's an upmarket BnB, not hot tub cabins. Rooms are perfectly clean and maintained, but for the price they're quite small, especially bathroom. They're not very private as they're at ground level with large window wall looking directly into car park with people walking and driving past. There's not much in the local vicinity, no food on site and no fridge in the room, so dining options are very limited. Kind of in the middle of nowhere along tiny country lanes, icy conditions will be a pain unless you drive a tractor. If you're used to regular BnBs you'll find it posh, but otherwise there are better options for the price.
