  Ticked all the boxes

  Booked a spa overnight stay with my 15 year old daughter. On arrival reception very organised and efficient. All guests wear masks when walking around just not when seated. Hand sanitizer, screens up, clear instructions. Twin room very clean. Little fridge which was great. Spare cushions. Bath robe, slippers. Clearly set up for child too. Colouring book and child bath robe. However shes 15 but still liked that she hadnt been overlooked. At 4.30 it was our 1.5 hr pool session. We were given full instructions. Each daily group has a lane in pool and rotates round jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Much preferred that to sharing anyway as it felt like we had our own private spa. Dinner was at 7.15. Shown to a table and waiter service was prompt. Were never kept waiting. The food was lovely. Vegetarian choices for my daughter. All beautifully made and presented. Had to eat 3 courses even though I couldnt move afterwards. The hotel managed to create a great dining atmosphere even though a high degree of order was required. Most of guests seemed to be twenty something couples. We were too full to do much more that evening and retired to room. After a sound sleep in our comfy beds we went to breakfast. All table service. Plenty of staff again so never had to wait. Lots of great choice. Daughter had veggie cooked breakfast. I had continental but with their special Bircher berry muesli which was gorgeous. Pastries, fresh fruit. You can keep ordering as you wish but we were full. Our treatments were at 9.45. This was perhaps the area that felt most unusual. Probably less relaxed and relaxing but who could blame staff working in this area for being more nervous. We had another pool session which was even nicer as less people than day before. We had booked a late checkout at 2 so this slight extension worked really well. Came to pay for the coffees we had drunk before pool session but had been over charged. The hotel said no problem and cancelled the whole bill. Overall a fantastic stay. Very organised and clean. Will definitely look for other hotels in this group in future.

  Early Bird Meal

  I booked a table for 2 on Friday for the early bird offer... The service was excellent. Michael attended to our every needs from when we arrived to when we left. The food was served promptly, the presentation and the meal was perfect. There was live music from a man singing and playing a guitar which went well with the evening... I will definitely go back and recommend if you want a perfect evening.

  Excellent family stay

  We have just returned from a 2 night mini break with a 5 year old and an 18 month old baby and I must say how impressed I was with this hotel. We were anxious about travelling with young children to a hotel during the current restrictions etc but chose this one due to it having a pool and its location to explore nearby family attractions. As soon as we arrived we felt at ease! The hotel was spotlessly clean and welcoming! We loved the little extras left in our room for the children including cookies, activity packs and a mini bathrobe for my 5 year old. We booked a family room with sofa bed and travel cot which was great! Plenty space, fab bathroom with bath and good quality travel cot. We used the pool every day of our stay which we pre-booked before arrival and the children loved it. Breakfast was beautiful - Kids took full advantage of the variety on offer and we couldnt fault the choice and quality of the food we ordered. All of the staff in at breakfast were excellent and accommodated our young family with a smile and friendly attitude particularly the lady who served us, she was brilliant with the kids! Nothing was too much trouble! All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and it exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return.

  Fabulous hotel with pet friendly rooms

  I stayed at the Thorpe Park Hotel for two nights over Christmas. The hotel was empty due to the Covid pandemic, however, I was made to feel really special and welcome. My pet-friendly room was large, with an extra space for a small sofa and table. A large soft doggie bed, a bowl, a ball and some doggie treats, inside my room, were a lovely surprise. The bathroom had a large bath AND a shower. The big double bed was soft, pristinely crispy clean and super comfy. This hotel is beautiful with fabulous spa facilities. I'm definitely planning to visit again once Covid restrictions are over as, inevitably, the restaurant and bar had to be closed. Also, the heating my room wasn't working properly, however, the hotel manager brought an electric heater to my room and that warmed it up quickly. I left my North Face jacket hanging up in the wardrobe in my room, the hotel staff retrieved it for me and posted it back to my home address. How nice is that? Big thanks to Ashley and Daniel, hotel staff, who arranged this for me. I really cannot recommend this hotel enough. Absolutely no hesitation giving this a five star review.

  Amazing stay and left so relaxed

  Had an amazing stay, felt so safe all safety measures in place. We went on the 2 night short stay break with evening meal both nights and breakfast each morning. The food was out of this world the steak on the early bird was one of the best steaks had in a long time. We took full advantage of the happy hour 5 till 7pm the cocktails went down a treat. Got champagne in room on arrival with robe and slippers that we used on our spa visit. Mario the manager of the bar and resturant made us feel so welcome as did all the staff, we were so happy with how hard they all worked and took the time to ask us how we were and where we was from type thing. We will definalty be coming back we have had such a good time and leaving so relaxed... thankyou to all the hard working staff.
