Decent Hotel, inexpensive, but service is inconsistentI recently spent a few days at this hotel during a trip to Abuja. Overall, the check-in process was quick and efficient. My room was neat and clean and very comfortable in terms of size and location. The menu was very limited however as about 60% of the items were not available during my visit. Moreover, there was some inconsistency with regard to what is included in the Breakfast package - which left me rather bemused that scrambled eggs are charged for separately in addition to having prepaid for breakfast. Nonetheless, the waitrons were friendly and helpful on most occasions. A big minus for me was that I had no internet access in my room for the duration of my stay. This is something that must be attended to as I was told prior to booking that there is wireless connectivity in all of the rooms. I did manage to connect from the lobby area, however, this was sometimes inconvenient for me. All in all, I generally had an 'ok' stay, but would probably explore alternative options for business stay when next in Abuja in order to make a more definitive comparison. I was not thrilled with the experience, but at the same time, it was reasonably priced and ideally located for my various meetings in Abuja.

Worst Hotel EVER!!Horrible experience. Light went within minutes of arriving and the generator was not put on for hours!! The toilet had a bucket and a bowl. Toilet flusher was not working, no duvet covers, dusty supcription had not been paid. Clueless staff, menu was sad! Food barely edible. Horrible

Not bad but would prefer to stay elsewhereI was in Abuja for less than 24 hours and had to stay in a hotel just to sleep. Somebody from our group chose this hotel for whatever reason and we were quite disappointed with the selection. This hotel is a completely worn-out property. We were first booked in their standard room which is TERRIBLE. Never ever stay in this hotel's standard room. It is highly depressing, too dark even with the lights. The hotel has no elevators so the bell boy has to carry your entire luggage on his shoulder to your room either on the first or the second floor, which is quite a pity sign. This is not a small hotel so considering that, having no elevator is a sign of "don't care" attitude. When I entered the standard room I felt that I won't even last in this room for an hour. I was extremely tired with back-to-back International flights followed by a long meeting, still I could not sleep in the room. The bathroom was even worst like any public bathroom in Nigeria. The room A/c never worked and the room was full of mosquitoes. I complained this to the front desk and they had a stereotype reply that this is a standard room. They offered me to fix the A/c and spray the room to get rid of mosquitoes. I wasn't interested in that. I had to immediately ask hotel to change my room. Then I was given a higher category room, I don't remember which one. We did pay for that, it was not a complementary upgrade. But it was little better and livable for one-night stay. They had already sprayed for mosquitoes before allocating it to me which I was not happy with. The smell was not soothing but I was so much tired that I did not have any energy left to argue with the front desk to change the room again. The room was at least bigger and A/c was working. The bed was not at all comfortable with the mattress not being evenly shaped, so I had to manage to sleep only in the middle portion in order I don't wake up with a sore back. The bathroom was a bit better than the previous room but still not up to the standard. The water did not pass through properly and took some time, the drainage portion from where the water passes was kept extremely dirty and sticky. As if it was no cleaned for months. Wash basin had no place to put your shaving kit, lotion etc. The water was very dirty, I was not ready to try it for mouthwash. They claim Wi-fi to be free, it was but the Internet never worked for any of us. The room allocated to me was next to the store room so there was a huge amount of disturbance with noise of cleaning staff early in the morning. Also, the room was exactly opposite to the stairs on the first floor that means the door faces the hallway. Everything spoken at the front desk was coming all the way to my room especially when Nigerians do not have decency to speak in a lower tone even during the late evening. I don't understand why they shout for even a thing that really doesn't matter. Anybody who has other rooms had to pass through my room since it was facing the hallway and that added the level of disturbances. I could sleep only because I was extremely tired otherwise it would not have been possible. The food at restaurant is equally terrible, NEVER try that. I didn't have the food but none of them in my group liked the food. The service is bad in the restaurant. Most of the time they disappear and you don't have anybody if you want to order something. The breakfast was complementary but I entered the restaurant with a negative perception so I didn't bother to ask what they have to offer. I simply ate the omelette and bread and walked away. They took 30-min to deliver the omelette even though I was the only person in restaurant. The hotel has made a platform at the entrance to reception area and there is no ramp. So, your car can not leave you right at the doorstep of the reception. It was raining and the car stopped near the parking area and we walked to the reception getting wet. This is the first time I have seen this issue in so many hotels I have stayed in so far across the world. I would strongly recommend to avoid this hotel unless you have an extremely tight budget.

Not so bad!The hotel facility has a lot of wear and tear but it is neat and fairly priced. The staff were very friendly and did their best to make me comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was not a buffet but my choice from the limited menu was promptly prepared. Wifi speed was average and satellite tv channels limited. Overall, it was a pleasant stay because of the good service provided by all the staff I encountered.
