  It was ok, but: Dust in the ventilation system and behind the TV on the wall, see and feel. Naughty smell from the bathroom, urine in the toilet. LED light defective in shower. Window could not be opened, defective mechanism (escape route). Damaged cover on 220V power outlet behind bed.

  OK but not great

  Stayed there for one night. Had a regular double room. The TV didn't work so I complained. They couldn't fix it, but I could get a new room. Back to the reception (a looong walk) ;-) She had to upgrade me because of no other vacant rooms. Changed to a family room. Room is ok. (2 floors) First thing I had to do was wash parts of the floor because I got stuck to it. There is a carpet on parts of the floor - not been vaccumed. Dust around the room. It seems as if the washing is done very "easy". They forget places. The bed broke during the night, and I could see somebody had tried to fix it earlier, without being able to do it correct. Breakfast was ok. I used bonus points to stay there, would have been even more disapointed if I had to pay NOK 1000,- a night! I most probably will stay again - but only because I have to and its the only hotel there.....

  very nice modern hotel

  nice modern hotel with big rooms, and a good meeting room. has the room on the third floor, quite big, down side was rather warm but you can open the windows. big bathroom with decent shower. wifi works fine. a bit hard bed for my taste but big enough. nice bar in lobby and a nordic breakfast with fish, cheese, eggs and more. horrible coffee is the only downside for breakfast.

  In Surnadal, you have no choice

  I have stayed at this hotel twice the last two years, 5 nights in July/August each time. Last year I started my stay in one of the newer rooms, which was OK, but the A/C was not working at all, and it was very hot outside. It took the personnel two nights to accept that it was a problem, and I was moved to a very nice room for the rest of the stay. With A/C. This August I was given one of the old rooms. Torn carpets in the hallway. Almost inedible dinner (both burgers and fish). Non-functioning A/C, exposed TV signal boxes on the wall (no covers) and several other covers missing, leaving large holes in the wall etc. The breakfast is good, but not excellent. The bar patio is nice, but service is slow. Rooms are reasonably clean. This is a worn down hotel with no competition, which is probably why its still in operation. The personnel is pleasant and they probably do their best, but I think this hotel is in bad need of new management and a major upgrade. It is certainly not of the standard I have seen at other Thon hotels.

  2 overnight stay

  We were group of 3 people who were visiting Trondheim city which is 2 hours drive from hotel since all other Thon hotels in Trondheim are sold out. So we found this hotel and we were happy with triple room and service for special price. Our room keylock didn t work. Fixed next day. Tv has some channels. Hotel has evening meals everyday cost of 175 NOK. Plus they have pub menu. Close to hotel shops,Pizza restuarant, gas station and Vinmolopolet. Breakfast was ok. Coffe wasn t good. More bookings you have hotel, more choises of food in the morning. We did´t find also Hotel Parking place. No signs.
