  Calm and service minded B&B

  We had a pleasant stay at Thomas hotel, with a great view and a balcony in the village of Monolithos. The owner helped us with everything!!! Even the cats were adorable. Thank you for a lovely stay! Monolithos has about three restaurants and one mini market. So make sure you have everything before settling down, since theres not a lot to do and buy in this tiny village. And wear ear plugs for the church bells ringing early on Saturday mornings. Other than that, just enjoy a really calm little place thats almost empty of tourists.

  the most hospitable and friendliest place to stay on Rhodes

  George, the owner of the Thomas Hotel, is most hospitable and friendly. He has a long family history with Monolithos and his love and enthusiasm for the area is infectious. This is a great location to experience and enjoy the quieter and more authentic side of Rodos life; nature, mountains, wild beaches, small villages selling local products and little museums of local traditions. Our room was comfortable, very clean and the views from the balcony spectacular. We really enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening looking out across the inspiring mountains and coast. The food at the local restaurant Old Monolithos was very good and the chef/patron a character. Our stay at the Thomas was a highlight of our holiday on Rhodes and we hope to return very soon.

  Excellent hotel, wonderful place, great owner

  A very nice place in a quiet village far from mass tourism. Georges, the owner, is very attentive and kind to his customers. Good breakfast, good room with fantastic view. What else ? For those who want to spend a peaceful time in real Rhodos. Good restaurants (taverns) available in the village (walking distances). Our best time in Rhodos

  Great hospitality

  I spent 4 days in monolithos, stayed @ Thomas everything was excellent, nice room with a magnificent view, Giorgos is a great person you will feel like at home! I will definitely come back ! Efharisto

  A glorious winter stay in South Rhodes

  This is a great value hotel of the good old times. Most of the infrastructure is dated but well-functioning. Most importantly it has new window frames with double glazing providing excellent insulation- something very important for winter stays and lacking in most accommodation in Rhodes. Air-condition heating is efficient, there is plenty of hot water and internet is fast. It is very clean and also has mosquito shields in the balcony. In a nutshell it has all you need for a comfortable stay, even in winter, for a very reasonable price. I was given a 1st floor room with a spacious balcony and a breathtaking view overlooking an almost pristine mountain slope and the Aegean Sea. I was lucky enough to have exceptionally warm weather but even on a rainy day it would be great to stay indoors and look at the landscape. Just two points that I would like to highlight. It is a bit difficult to find the hotel as google map is misleading. Also the village has very narrow and edgy streets an driving is a bit stressful. Maybe it would be a good idea to leave your car in the main road and go walking to the hotel. All in all, this hotel was a very fortunate surprise and made my winter say in the paradisiac part of Rhodes exceptional.
