  Budget hotel and real comfortable

  Hotel Thessoni serves the purpose of budget travellers, and in fact the rooms are luxurious considering what they charge. Temperature control facility is available in the bathrooms, and bath tub is also present. The rooms are air conditioned. The bed, pillows and quilt were all very comfortable. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. However, alcohol can be consumed and it is available in the mini bar present in the room. It is chargeable extra. There are beautiful agriculture fields in a half kilometre walk from the hotel (opposite direction). The hotel staff were real friendly and they speak English. The food is alright, nothing exquisite, but edible. We had complimentary breakfast for two days. It comprised of bread, ham, egg, coffee, juices and so on. More like a typical English breakfast. Regarding accessibility, I am not in a position to comment because we did not make use of public transportation while we were at Zurich. Overall it is a good hotel and I'd recommend it to budget travellers.

  Lots of space, great room and bed.

  First time over the road in the Thessoni home - normally at the hotel. I did miss a coffee maker or a kettle for tea -I brought tea bags but alas no hot water. good lighting but I failed to get the room hot....

  Nice service, Clean rooms, Super facilities, easy access to Zürich

  Always nice service at the Thessonis classic reception, wonderful breakfast, Clean and light rooms.Wifi perfect. Fittness room well equipted. Surroundings: a walk round the Katzensee is beuiatiful and quiet.

  Great concept for longstay guests

  I stayed at Thessoni Home as a longstay guest for a year. It's ideally located just 2 minutes from the railway station, 8 minutes by train from Oerlikon. Services provided include regular housekeeping, free bike rental and free well equipped gym. Appartments are of modern design, with fresh ideas. Common room with a kitchen for all is very innovative, but sadly not that often used by others. Options for biking and jogging around the lake are just a big plus. Staff is very friendly too. I'd stay there again.

  Great place with good wifi, well equipped gym and easy access to the city.

  I stayed here for several weeks and appreciated the fast wifi needed for my telecommuting. The bed was comfortable, room spacious, and the shared amenities were accessible. The gym is really good for a hotel gym! You are a 2-minute walk from the train station and with a train to Zurich every 30 minutes, it is easy to get into the city. Nice places for running or walks nearby.
