  Nice hotel - comfortable & spacious

  Decent room, spacious & warm with a really good bathroom. Nice to have lots of space & good ambiance. Very close to motorway, so a bit noisy. Great staff - very helpful. Parking fine, provided you log your registration number at the bar. Would definitely come back.

  Scam site blacklist this place. DO NOT VISIT.

  Been going here for over 30 years as a stop off on business trips. Called for a quick drink ( soft) on my way home. Didnt see any signs outside or inside the pub. Neither did the staff mention anything about the new parking charge system. Week later £60 bill on the doorstep. I wrote to the pub explaining the issue and how many years I had been going. With out a receipt we cant do anything was the reply. I didnt even get a receipt and even if I did who keeps a receipt for a soft drink!! As with many others on here I wont be going there again. They have lost more money than they have gained and a king standing customer. With all the pubs closing around the country you would think customer service should be a priority and not scamming people for costing their establishment Food is crap anyway.

  No heating

  We had a member of staff stay for 3 nights.The first night there was no hot water or heating. We emailed them and mentioned it on check out but got completely ignored. We would have used them again the following week but felt that their attitude to our complaint was insignificant to them and we went else where.

  Very Pleased

  Been passing by for years but went in for the first time today. Our meals were very good, my wife and sister had the liver and onions, with real mash (not packet) and bacon. I had the rack of ribs with skin on chips and salad. We all loved it and the rhubarb crumble didn't disappoint either. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be going back.

  Emergency stop

  Been go8ng the pub for years and the one time I had pull in for my exhurst was falling g off I was 8 mis and 2 weeks later got £110 for parking so I went in to say why I was I the at park to save my exhurst fall off o the motorway and may be killing someone but all I got was tuff so will never go again and check out all the high end cars and speedboat shows who getting ripped off
