Handi-cap Marine rufused handi-cap room because he has a service dogHave stayed at this hotel several times before on business but never with my handi-capped husband. He has had double hip replacement, diabetes (thank you agent orange), nerve neuropathy in his feet from the diabetes and a few other problems. He has a service dog because of these various problems. When I requested a handi-cap room there was one available until I revealed that my husband had a service dog, then I was told that I couldn't have the handi-cap room because none of the handi-cap rooms were animal rooms. I told the clerk that it was illegal to refuse my husband the room because of his service animal and she called the manager Teresa trying to get permission to give my husband the room he was entitled to but Teresa suggested we try the Baymont Inn instead. I hope I am spelling Teresa's name right when I name her in my complaint with the ADA along with this hotel.

Toilet Overflowing!!Don't recommend staying here!! When we first got there the toilet overflowed. Called front desk and they sent someone to clean up the water and plunge the toilet. We were told not to put toilet paper in the toilet to put paper in the garbage can. Later the toilet overflowed again!! We asked to be moved and was told they were booked and no other rooms was available. When we checked out I asked for refund and lady got mad and said it wasn't their fault we stopped the toilet up which was a lie. If you don't want to be swimming in water I highly recommend you not staying at this place!!

Roach motel (Literally)Call the better business bureau if youve been wronged by this place. Im already in the process of starting a case. Had no ac or heat they said it was a plug issue (but I dont work there why would I try to fix it) and woke up to roaches everywhere including bed. Told the staff they already knew because of an issue with pest control. Talked to a lady who said she was the manager but needless to say I wouldnt let her manage anything ever she didnt care at all about the issues. Asked for the owners number she gave me a random number and one that didnt work how professional. But anyway contact the BBB they will have an open case on that place.

Bad customer serviceCheck in was the biggest hassle ever. No front desk agent should ever argue with someone. I called the hotel and asked if I could check in and he said yes, so I booked the room and when I got there he said I cant check in til 3Pm. (Its 5am and Ive been driving all night) then my husband gets out the vehicle and oh now its a whole different story and we get checked in. Then the agent doesnt know how to check us in, and calls the manager and she is yelling through the phone - and the dude was like dont yell at me cause I dont know how to do something well why is he working alone if he doesnt know how to do something - so thats managements problem due to poor training. Ive been working in hotels for 13 years, in management and thats was a horrible check in experience. Hotels + GREAT customer service = money and good reviews. Hotel employees should always treat guest like the most important person in the world. Not lie and catch attitudes. If you do that, you need to get out of the hospitality industry

Great Value and CleanWe stayed 2 nights and will definitely return when we need accommodations again while here. Key words.... clean and reasonably priced. Many areas for food, gas, groceries, I-10 Interstate and not far from Gulf Shores.
