  Lovely place to stay

  What a Gem of a guest house , we had one of the larger rooms which had a great size bed with ensuite with a great size shower . Jean is the host and makes you very welcome with a nothing too much attitude. Great location with the beach no more than 50 meters away ...... we will be staying again. Very COVID aware and everything is spotless so no worries at all.

  A fantastic place to stay Jean had a broken shoulder and nothing was to much for her 100% was given clean everywhere in the lodge we will book again food was lovely and warm at breakfast very friendly

  A very welcome overnight stay

  We stayed at the White Lodge as we were walking the Norfolk Coast Path post-lockdown in December 2020. Jean made us very welcome and took the covid hygiene precautions seriously. We had a cosy room with excellent sea views and enjoyed having a cup of tea in bed in the morning while watching the sunrise. The breakfast was excellent and hearty, with a good selection despite the covid restrictions. Theres a wide choice of places to eat nearby and we would particularly recommend Chicos, which is about 20 minutes walk away. All in all a very enjoyable visit and we would definitely stay there again.

  The most amazing stay ever!

  Jean is literally the most amazing host you can ever stay with. Her place is extremely cosy, clean and full of character. Facilities are amazing and everything you need is in the rooms/ easily attainable by simply asking. The location is perfect for getting into town centre for work and there is plenty of parking. Jean genuinely did make me feel at home. She has such a big heart. She is very helpful, friendly, professional and approachable. Oh and if you're lucky she might even play the piano for you! Whether it is for a leisure trip or work stay I would highly recommend this place to anyone from the bottom of my heart. I know where I am staying next time I'm in Great Yarmouth! Thank you Jean for a memorable stay.

  Excellent? More like outstanding!!

  I, honestly, could not dream of staying anywhere else in Gt Yarmouth! No amount of stars can do this place justice. Jean and Eddie are lovely in every respect. Very friendly and very respectful, very warm and very welcoming! The brilliant thing is that, after a long day at work, you come back here and it feels like home. And that I have never experienced before. I simply love this place. The one thing you get with Jean (even after a broken shoulder!) is hospitality! Nothing is ever a bother for her come rain, shine, day or night. This place definitely deserves a stay. Whilst Gt Yarmouth is very busy in the peak season, this place is tucked away enough to avoid the rush yet still be a ten minute walk (if that) in to the town centre. The beach directly opposite is quiet and relaxing and avoids the main, busy, stretch. And take a walk along the scenic Venetian Waterways, which start right opposite this place. Thank you...always, for making my stays enjoyable and you (both) are a credit to your industry!
