  Convenient and good value for money

  Good location, in the center of Cullompton. Rate including full English breakfast, which is good value for money. The owner is amiable. Could be better if wifi is accessible in rooms and a bit room refurbishments. Good for a short stay.

  Terrible pub with 3 rooms above.

  We booked this hotel through a website -hotelmix.co.uk-and trip advisored it. It sounded exactly what we wanted for a 2 night stay for a wedding. The website listed the premises as having 19 rooms with mini bar, lift,spa etc. The reality was entirely different. There are 3 rooms above a busy pub. The room we had was small, noisy and nothing like we had expected. We decided that we would not stay for the 2 nights as originally booked and when we spoke to the owner the next morning he apologised and said we must have seen the wrong website which he said that he had been put up by a predecessor and that he had been unable to change despite several attempts to do so. We have subsequently google searched the White Hart and indeed there are other websites some correct and others (as we read) not.To be fair to the owner he apologised for the mix up on the websites and charged us £50 instead of £75.Having stayed there we would not recommend this pub.

  Awesome and chatty staff!

  We only stayed here for a night but were very impressed with the passion these people are investing in their family business. Theres not a single thing we didnt liked, but only nice things to say about the place and the owners. Spotless clean. Way too much for the delicious breakfast, I have to say, as we hardly had half of it, it was that much! We had bookings for Diggerland the next day which for this place is extremely recommended as a location.

  Anniversary break

  Stayed here only one night as everywhere booked up during August. Absolutely lovely couple and Jayne cooked a fantastic breakfast. They even have my wife some chocolate and wished her happy Anniversary. Would definitely stay here again . Room was very nice and such a good price. If you read any bad revues on here. Take no notice. Try it yourself. You won't be disappointed.

  Excellent food/service

  What a wonderful little pub, came to the area for a weekend away and found this little pub in the high street, very welcoming, friendly and attentive, dog friendly pub and what wonderful food it was the portion sizes were so much more than we all expected we struggled to complete all meals The whale and chips sure was a whale partner has never had fish like it! The rack of ribs was a full rack! And struggled to eat the chips and peas accompanying the dish The roast beef was delicious melted in your mouth and lots of choice of vegetables And finally the baguette was almost the size of a french stick loaf the pregnant lady struggled even eating for 2!!! Defiantly good value for money and the staff were both lovly and made us feel so welcome and looked after during our visit When we return back to the area we will 100% be back
