  Expected Better

  This hotel had very few amenities and was way tooo expensive. Most of amenities were closed and charged you a $20.00 resort fee. No service to the rooms. When requested towels, shampoo and ect.. they were dumped in front of your door. The coffee machine was filthy and cheap. When paying $336.00 a night for average room with average décor. No microwave in room. You had to walk down 2 long hallways and use a shared one by the whole floor by ice machine and it was dirty and had a fowl smell. The 4 star restaurant was average at best. My eggs were overdone. The server made me feel very uncomfortable by standing way away from the table and only coming near when she set the plates on the table and asking about the covid-19 vaccine when she found out I was front line healthcare worker. The front desk staff was not welcoming or warm. The bellboy staff were excellent and were very friendly. JD the first server I had was very nice and friendly. The screen door to the room fell off when I went to go on the balcony. I would not recommend this hotel.

  Beautiful hotel on the beach

  We were pleasantly pleased with this beautiful hotel on the beach on Jekyll Island. During COVID we have taken great care to pick our hotels very carefully. The Westin provides you with a spotless hotel, plenty of hand sanitizing stations and free masks at the front desk. Mask wearing is mandatory for your safety and others. There is a Starbucks coffee cafe in the lobby. There is the Reserve Steakhouse for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Inside or out dining is available, Reservations are suggested. There are also four restaurants in the small village surrounding the Westin. Plenty to choose from. . There are bicycles included in our room rate as well as discount coupons to Starbucks. Umbrellas and chairs for $20 per day. Everything here is done well from the front desk to the staff in the rooms and restaurants.

  Beautiful hotel

  This is a great hotel in a perfect location. Its on the beach, near places to walk to for shopping and food. Nice size gym and beautiful lobby. Staff that we encountered were really nice. Will definitely come back here again.

  Quick STOP on the way to Florida

  Call on the Interstate was the luckiest thing I ever did. Victoria was so helpful and kind. When we arrived Ben checked us in. Those 2 are under paid. Made us feel like we have know them for years. Our stay was great had a fantastic room and the service was outstanding. We were so impressed that we already booked for Mid-March. Looking forward for the weekend !!!!

  Was NOT allowed to check in with tons of excuses From manager felt like I was being racially profiled or Careless

  Will be contacting corporate for a formal complaint Had call a few hours prior to get a reservation no answer and tried several times finally got to the hotel which did not know that this was completely in the middle of nowhere arrived at 12 AM walked in lady told me I could not check in until 30 minutes from then because their computer I asked her what happened because nobody answered the phone she said nobody was here I said that sounds odd She told me twice that she could not check me in and then said Im just talking in circles here and then advise me if I wish to go shop around for another room I can go somewhere else obviously Ive stayed at Westins before I did not want to I went outside and waited 30 minutes and walked back in she told me the same exact thing I walked outside I called corporate corporate said you can have a room just walk in I said why would you lie and make me wait in my car with my family its almost 1 AM now I have nothing to say other than you can check in and were sorry for your inconvenience I told him that their manager on property was a liar and told me to go elsewhere and book a hotel stay for me and my family they were very sincere they apologized all back over again and the manager said for the third time shes running a program on her computer and cant check me in it wouldve been nearly 1:30 AM if I waited any longer I want to cross the street to the Hilton end of story Not sure if this is racial profiling here in Georgia or the lady is just a jerk but if somebody walks in with their family you give them a hotel key were all paying customers I will be filing a complaint with corporate later today
