  Comfortable hotel, nice staff

  I appreciate the prior reviewer had a negative experience but my wife and I felt very comfortable in the hotel. An abundance of hand washing stations (at every entrance and every elevator/ever floor). Contactless check in (with the exception of the pet policy form). Clearly marked policies regarding limiting number of people in elevators, required mask use. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Over a nice staff

  Clean, Comfortable, Upgraded

  We stayed here for two nights as a getaway. We have stayed at other hotels in the area, but decided to splurge and stay here the last time. It is a wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and advised we were upgraded to a King Executive Guest Room. This included access to the Club Lounge on the top floor, which was nice for the complimentary drinks available. The rooms are clean and modern. The hallways and lobby are spotless as well. The bathroom was nice with both a shower and a tub. The bed was comfortable. The wifi worked great. Parking was not a problem outside of the building. The local newspaper was available in the lobby, which I love. It's nice to have so many dining and shopping options available within walking distance, with the Galleria and Southdale Center right there. We are looking to do this again in November for a weekend and will more than likely be heading back here.

  Birthday weekend

  Stayed here for my birthday weekend and it was amazing!! Staff was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping! Lobby bar bartenders both nights were entertaining and charming! Front desk staff was prompt, personable, and always there to greet you with a smile (under their mask)!

  Terrible customer service

  I frequently stay at this hotel. The customer service at this location has really gone down hill in the last year. The last two trips that I stayed here, I had problems. This time, the hotel screwed up my reservation and would not make it right. The staff was very rude. My son had to sleep on couch. No pull bed in room. The hotel gave me a room for two people when we had three I our group. It was sold to me as an upgrade. Sleepless night for all of us. Complained to the staff and no correction was offered. I am done with this property.

  Amazing Couples Weekend

  This was my first experience staying at this Westin location, and I must say that the customer service was wonderful. And secondly, the location is fantastic, we were able to go to the galleria via the tunnel (which was nice at -20 outside.) The galleria offers a multitude of fine dining and shopping options. It made for a wonderful, COVID safe weekend away. And we will likely be making this a more frequent stay!
