  Theyve got it right

  This is a hotel which has been in the same family for many years, and the care and attention of having a personal touch is evident in everything. It looks as if it has been recently decorated beautifully - colourful but absolutely in keeping with the age of the building. Comfortable seating areas, roaring fires, and importantly, plenty of lamps to read by! Our room was spacious and light, and the food at all meals was delicious. The service was friendly but professional. We look forward to our next visit.

  A mini break with my sister

  We enjoyed a safe and relaxing 2 night break db&b. Our first time at the Wentworth. Lovely friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with a younger age group staying there rather than all elderly which has stopped us staying in the past. There isnt a lift and the stairs aren't for the faint hearted but okay if taken slowly.

  A great hotel

  Our first stay at the Wentworth but we will certainly be back. Comfortable, well designed and organised hotel. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Excellent and good value food and drink. Really struggle to fault the Wentworth and its in the sea front.

  Lovely family run hotel

  My partner and I spent two nights at the Wentworth with two young children, despite many previous trips to Aldeburgh, this was our first visit to the hotel. The hotel is recently refurbished, to a very good standard, is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. We only ate breakfast, which was delicious, very good indeed. Will definitely return when all this Covid malarkey is over.

  Well done The Wentworth you have done it again!

  We had the really good fortune to be able to have our 2night stay just before national lockdown began . What a joy it was . This was our first break away to a hotel since the pandemic and based on our past stays here felt confident that things would be well managed . We were not disappointed. Once again despite the challenging times we are in , this lovely hotel and its staff were able to provide us with an oasis of gentle relaxation , good food and service . I was impressed on how the hotel had put in place their health and safety measures , with clear signage , one way systems, gel stations and staff facilitation etc to create an environment that felt safe and reassuring. A few times we saw guests choosing to ignore the one way system as opposed to genuinely making a mistake but thats not the fault of the hotel and it never felt unsafe due to overall numbers using the hotel .What we were particularly impressed with and appreciated was that considering the hotel was about to go into lockdown and all the implications that would have for them, how the staff managed to maintain a professional and friendly service and provide an environment where we could relax and feel well looked after, which was much needed by us at this time .So a very big thank you to all at the Wentworth . We look forward to staying with you again.
