  Nature's heaven, if you can ignore few parameters.

  We family of four with our small daughter and our teenager son stayed here in the first week of May. Positives of the stay: 1 The location. Serenity! Surrounded by undisturbed Nature. Tall lush green trees,rare birds,beautiful lake with lots of lotus flowers. 2 The cottages are very spacious with beautiful interiors. 3 The manager Mr Nitin is very cordial and understanding. Now Negatives: 1 The 1-2 km approach road from highway till the resort is very narrow, broken, steep and difficult for a small car. It's a two way road just enough to fit one car! 2 Food takes too much time to serve and has very mediocre taste and limited options to choose from. Resort's remote location compels the guests to eat in their restaurant only. 3 Service is slow, our room intercom was dead for two days. 4 Best suited for physically fit people as the cottages and restaurant are to be approached by foot up and down along a steep slope. Overall, If you want to stay among waynad's natural beauty, are physically fit and are willing to overlook sluggish Service and minimalistic food; this is the right place for you! We stayed in the lowest cottages in front of the lake. Those are the best! Calm, serene, exotic birds chirping around, lotuses in the lake in front of you. It's an experience! They arrange trekking around the area if you want. Overall... A mixed bag! But strongly recommended for nature lovers. Also please check with Mr Nitin if the conditions are improved. As he assured us improvement on food and road soon.

  Great Location but not value for money

  Other than the location I think this is not worth paying so much. Before I get into deeper few things let me say: i. The location is almost 6 km from the main road area means quite location, lake view, non-deserted and ofcourse lot of greenery and pollution free. Karaphuza dam is around 5 kms away. ii. Everything comes with a cost. So related to point 1 means you will not find any food, shops almost 6 kms. So we need to bear the pain of extra ordinary cost of the restaurant "Spectra". iii. Food is mostly buffet but if you need alacarte i.e. from the buffet. Food taste is not worth. I think the chef is aware of the recipe but not aware which ingredients will have how much quantity. Secondly it is more of buffet but re-filling is very late and managing is worst here. Cutleries are not cleaned properly. iv. Coming to the managing guest is again very bad. They have a huge space I think around 28 villas but if all their villas and cottages are filled then food is a challenge. Its pathetic. Note they don't have anything like views. You stand on the balcony you can view the lake. v. Other amenities are good are ample parking space, sports arena like badminton, fish spa (charged separately), swimming pool are all good. vi. Finally the staff are super duper polite and good. They try to resolve every issues whichever they can and help you out. Suggestion to The Wave - the common garden area are mostly used by those people who got the rooms on that garden. Pls clearly distinguish it that other people can also use and enjoy the camp fire. If you are entertaining large groups make sure you do not miss out those individual families too as they also pay you. Rooms to be renovated as few rooms have foul smell. My rooms didn't have mini fridge too and you charged the same. Pls provide good room service.

  Amazing

  Ohhh... amazing place.. peaceful.. The manager their is really helpful ( Naveen) and th kitchen staff service staff are very polite and kind.. The rooms are huge and very comfortable.. The water is always hot!!! In the evening the area gets covered with fog.. beautiful drizzle Every hour.. Spa over here is also very nice with sauna.. Can improve a little but very nice.. Little far from the city but worth coming here.. They arrange for vehicles also at any time.. Thankyou team Wave for the wonderful time!!!

  About resort

  We have stayed here from 21-24th of may,Good location, beautiful views, good amenities like badminton court, basketball, Swimming pool,children's play area and Fish SPA.my kids are enjoyed very well in wave resort,the staffs are very kind and rooms also well maintained.best resort in wayanad Umadevi, Chennai

  A quite and relaxing place to rejuvenate in Waynad

  A quite and relaxing place to rejuvenate . We stayed here from in May, advatage is Good location away from all Chaos, beautiful view, good amenities for Kids and Adults. Kids & We enjoyed our stay in wave resort, the staff are very kind and Rooms are well maintained. Would like to visit this place again.
