  Excellence: Location along Historic Bathhouse Row, Direct Access to Hiking Trails, and The Rooftop Bar

  Exceeded expectations. We stayed three nights. We loved the location. The room was comfortable and clean--loved the wall of windows. The staff was courteous and friendly. Our favorite features were: direct access to hiking trails out the rear of the hotel and the Rooftop Bar with lovely views of town and the mountain, friendly service and good drinks and food. Parking note: We opted for the free parking garage on Exchange Street, half a block or so away and had no problems parking in front of the hotel in the loading zone at arrival and departure.

  Best location

  The PERFECT location for downtown attractions. We were able to walk everywhere all weekend. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The bathroom for a room at this price point was dissapointing. Small and dark - what is the deal with lights? Put some in! Also - the door was some kind of sliding thing that definitely did not provide alot of privacy. Also - no alcohol in the restaurant and the restaurant was not even open most of the time. No breakfast available. They blamed it all on COVID. I am not sure how that played into not having a bar open or a restaurant for most of the time we were there. Kind of a la.e excuse if you ask me. Good service though and the doormen and valets were awesome. We will give them another shot.

  Not Local Friendly

  My husband booked a room here for our anniversary. It wasnt until we checked in that we were told they do not rent to locals. When he called to book, nobody asked if we were locals and even after giving our LOCAL address, they didnt say anything. Its a shame that they only cater to tourists.

  Great Location for a Birthday Celebration

  My daughter and son-in-law stayed in this hotel over their birthday weekend. Prior to their arrival, I had arranged for them to have a special package added for their stay. The coordination was with Janna Harmon of the Waters Hotel. She made certain the weekend experience was wonderful! Thanks to her and her complete coordination with hotel staff, my daughter and son-in-law felt very special and have raved about how perfect the weekend was for them.

  Nice hotel in the heart of Hot Springs National Park

  This was our second time staying here at The Waters. It is a great location to the National Park and restaurants. We visited during February when they had all the snow storms and were stuck here for a few day extra. The manager was very nice and gave us a great price for the extra day we were stuck here. It was like a ghost town because everything was closed down due to the snow. There was no place opened to eat and the hotel restaurant The Avenue actually opened late afternoon and prepared food for customers and staff which was very kind of them to do.
