  40th Anniversary getaway

  We really wanted to get away for out anniversary, but with the pandemic and all decided to stay local. What a treat! The VI did not disappoint. Kenny couldn't have been nicer and the inn was a delight. Every area was a treasure trove of history, photos and period antiques to see and admire. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with the bathroom well stocked with extras you don't normally expect. Breakfast was excellent and filling on a beautifully set table. Definitely one of the nicest inns we've ever stayed in. We'll definitely be back soon!

  Great experience.

  My fiancée and I spent 2 nights. We had an amazing time, the Elizabeth suite is beautiful and very comfortable, especially the balcony with view of the front yard. This gave a great view of the small new england town with fall foliage and halloween decorations. Breakfast was great and the host was very extremely pleasant and accommodating. Hope to go back for a next year.

  Awesome!

  Wish we could give more than 5 Stars!!! We have stayed here several times in the last few years while visiting family. Each room is unique and beautiful. We always love how its decorated for the holidays. Kenni always makes us feel like its our home away from home and Gina is a welcome addition. They both are always very accommodating to any special requests. There are so many extras included, like the homemade cookies, soda, coffee and water upon arrival to the beverage/snack station on the second floor. Each morning you are served a delicious home made breakfast with huge portions! The Inn is located within walking distance from several restaurants and shops. If you are looking for an awesome place to stay this is it!!!

  Beautiful B&B with amazing hospitality

  We decided to stay a night at the B&B for a belated birthday celebration nearby. We loved it and can't wait to go back for a visit in the warm weather! The room was beautiful, loved the furniture and amenities. There was cupcakes there on arrival too! The bathrobes were amazing ha. And the soaking jet tub was so nice. The picture windows were amazing as we woke up the next day to a snow storm! The breakfast was delicious and Kenni was so nice! Since it was a small B&B and there were not a lot of guests at the same time, we felt safe a comfortable exploring the home and outside of the room as well which was nice to not feel trapped. Lots of good local restaurants to choose from nearby too. Gaetanos Tavern was yummy and walkable distance.

  AMAZING

  I could not rate this place high enough. My absolute favorite place to go. The definition of welcoming and being treated like royalty. Complimentary cookies, snacks, coffee, tea, soda available at all times during your stay. The rooms have the most comfortable robes and slippers. The morning breakfast is such an elegant , exciting experience with fantastic food. This place is top of the line and I highly recommend. I have yet to stay at another bed and breakfast that tops here. Staying here brings you back to a different world making it a nice getaway. Ive stayed twice now, once for my birthday and once just to get away. I got the birthday package and Kenny made the most amazing birthday cake and decorated the room adorably. Highly recommend. Complimentary touches everywhere you turn!
