  They serve good food

  We usually held our meetings and parties in this hotel. They serve one of tastiest food in cdoc(magaling chef nila) They have good wi-fi too aside from Food.They are located in the heart of the city(dv soria) thats why its very accessible. Banks are everywhere,food chains,and some hotels too are nearby For just a few minutes ride, you can be in the biggest malls in cagayan de oro.(centrio,sm downtown,lim ket kai)

  Need some minor improvement

  Im writing this not too long after I checked in. Just around about my first 30 minutes, yes, staff at the reception is good. Guards are great as well. But Im not so impressed because of poor lighting inside the room, poor flooring conditions (faded vynil tiles), and the lamp shade beside me doesnt have power socket to plug. :( poor interior as well. It is clean by the way. That what matters most for me. So Im giving a 3 star for you VIP Hotel. No big deal actually because Ill be strolling the city all day long.

  A great location for a nice price.

  My wife and I spent 2 nights in the VIP Hotel and I got some really good sleep. The room had plenty of space and a nice large closet. We didn't watch any TV but the WIFI was fine. Our room was next to the indoor koi pond and it wasn't an issue because they turned off the waterfall during quiet hours. The people were very friendly and the room was clean. We liked the location in the city we will probably be back to stay on another trip to Cagayan de Oro.

  Just okay

  This was an alternstive venue. The training room has a very low ceiling and small. The sound system was fine too. What I like about my stay as the manmade pond-like center landscape. However, the rooms I've been too were just average or way below my expectations. Limited toiletries, old school TV and a bit noisy AC. The restaurant is one good thing about the hotel. The menu selection is also good including the band.

  Low expectations were fully met

  Normally wouldnt boom this kind of Hotel but others seemed to be full. Given the relatively low room rate was expecting a lot and it didnt deliver a lot. Service was variable. Guards ok at the front door were nice and reception staff good and efficient. Counted about 10 service staff in the breakfast room and they were mostly standing around chatting to each other. No one shows me to a table, no one offered me coffee, no one offered me eggs. Breakfast cleared away with no warning . Employ 3 properly trained service staff and hotel can save money and improve service. At night, had a man and woman singing who actually werent bad but it was so loud I couldnt sit in the restaurant. It was empty so I guess others agreed. Room was tatty, dirty and no hot water or safe which I found disturbing. Aircon was ok but very loud. Internet was in then off. No good for business and slow. Bizarrely hotel spending 3 weeks in the lobby creating. Xmas village from scratch. My advice is to put up a tree and nice lights and save in the cost, noise and disruption.
