  Appreciate What the Owner Did for the House

  Great location, and it just feels like living in a small museum. The toilet and bathroom are installed "inside" the room, so it'd be kind of odd if you have roommates with you. Fortunately, I was traveling alone. Even not, the atmosphere and beauty of the accommodation outweighs the little awkwardness of doing your own private business. The house owner, Tim, is helpful, a interesting mate to chat with, and truly knows how to create a comfortable and chill environment. Jazz music...huge plus~~

  Wonderful place to start exploring Tainan

  Tim, your future host at the Vintage Maison Tainan, made us feel welcome upon our arrival. He pointed us in the right direction immediately for fantastic food and great sites. The location is central in Tainan. Short distances to the main attractions of the city. The "Vintage" is a wonderful eclectic place, originally a Japanese fabric importing office and whare house. Tim has done a great job in preparing the "Vintage" for guests. We were enthralled with the period pieces filling the building in all nooks and crannies. When we go back to Tainan we will gladly stay at the "Vintage" again. Thanks Tim.

  Tim is awesome, the place is great

  Tim was such a great host. He and the cat live on the site and he made us feel part of the family. Good location, close by Koxinga Shrine and Confucius Temple. We took a bus down to Anping and Ubered back. Would definitely stay again (and it is super close to MexCafe mexican food truck.)

  This place was one of the worst trip experiences that my family and I have ever encountered and so did our traveling buddies who pretty much booked all 5 rooms. It's definitely not kids friendly, the host Tim acted as if he had seen the whole world showing off with some vintage collections. Why post your cat Jamie on your ads if he is not allowed to be near any other human beings except to yourself? BE AWARE: THERE IS ONLY MOBILE BUILT-IN SHOWER & TOILET IN EACH ROOM and HOLY CRAP with the draining clogging. NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE WHATSOEVER for our 3-night stay. If it wasn't for the whole group, I would have taken my family to a much better rating hotel asap after seeing such a lousy room which charges $2400/night DAMN I can't even give a negative -5 stars
