Great spotThe king suite we stayed in had view of the trails on Loon mountain. Had a full small kitchen, living room, and nice entryway with a spot to put on your boots. We are going to try and book this place every time we come up!

February Break in New HampshireFebruary break week is a tough time to find a timeshare trade in New Hampshire. When I came across this trade through RCI a year out, I jumped on it, even though I knew the resort wasn't the newest or most sparkly. I'm so glad that I did. We had a great time! Our unit was 322. This was a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit that slept 6. It was on the top (3rd) floor of building 5. No elevators. All 3 teenagers were with me for this trip...so stairs weren't an issue. They made short work of carrying things in! The unit was smaller than many we've had, but quite comfortable. The galley style kitchen had older appliances that were in fine working order. More than 6 place settings of dishes...this gets two thumbs up! I hate having to wash dishes every 30 minutes! A nice assortment of cookware as well. There was a pass through window to the dining room. Dining room and living room were together. Dining table had 5 chairs. Leather couch and a great easy chair with ottoman in the living room. A tv in the corner, and a wonderful gas fireplace on a timer. There was a narrow balcony with a table and two chairs as well...view was of the tennis courts and across to Loon Mountain Ski Resort. The master had a king bed. A queen would have been a better choice...the bed overwhelmed the room. Good lighting here...lamps on both end tables. The downstairs bath was open to either the hall or the master. A standard tub/shower combo in both this bath and the upstairs one. Upstairs was the second bedroom, which was a good size and had two twins. There was also a loft with two twin beds. Second bath here as well. The location is great if you ski....the shuttle from Loon came around every day, so you wouldn't need to move the car! I travel with a track kid who thinks she needs a gym every day...she pronounced the gym here at Loon "very nice!" She used the pool every day as well...they had a family pool and then one for laps. The kids also rented ice skates one evening and used the rink at the resort. We went to North Conway for outlet shopping, to New London for a college look-see, to Littleton to poke about...this area has so many things to do, even if you don't ski. Hoping to head back here one more time before the twins head to college. Turns out we don't need new and sparkly...we need comfortable and cozy!

Great Rooms, Subpar ServiceWe have been going to this place for years but this year the experience was considerably less good. I understand there are restrictions due to covid but the staff were pretty unnecessarily rude/short and horrible about communicating. Our room wasn't ready for about 4 hrs after our check in which was fine, but there was no apology or explanation. There was only one competent and nice person at the desk. There were 3 other people standing at the desk doing nothing at all times. I think we were treated poorly due to being younger. I don't enjoy being talked down to by the people who are supposed to be the face of hospitality.

Best of EverythingClean, friendly and right across from the mountain. For what more could you ask? The fireplace was a great touch and the sliding doors looked right out at the mountain. Very convenient to restaurants and stores.
