College Dorm DecorI was looking forward to our stay in Vermont local vacation. Unfortunately this was a disappointment with a ton of potential. I booked through RCI and was expecting a week. Because of the pandemic it ended up being 5 days to allow for 48 hours to pass before reoccupany. I wish that had been made clearer earlier. Also a bit puzzling because other Vermont resorts are not doing the same. Safety first! I just wish RCI had been a little more transparent. Since we are local it wasnt a big deal but for others please read the fine print before booking during COVID. The desk clerk was pleasant and actually was pleased to see how many precautions they are taking. But again if you are going during the pandemic please please please read all of the info on the condos website. On to the condo itself. They are dated. Like really dated and decorated like a college dorm. Im not exaggerating. Think college dorm not condo. The king bed mattress was very worn. No toiletries other then soap and all kinds on instructions about the heat and leaving cabinet doors open because of potential for freezing pipes. Cmon HOA - insulate your units. The other huge disappointment is no WiFi in the units and no ability to use the main building so no WiFi. I have unlimited cell data so I thought no problem. I can use my phone as a hotspot and work while on my staycation. Not a chance in Stowe while the ski area is open. To many people not enough bandwidth. This is obviously no fault of the resort. But again cmon HOA - spring from some WiFi. Needless to say we left early. Even earlier then our surprise early departure request. I wont stay again until they do some serious upgrades. This place has so much potential. Its to bad the collection of owners dont want to invest in this potential gem.

A great get away in StoweI loved my stay at Village Green at Stowe. This is an old-school resort, with units decorated as if in the 1980s, which I loved! The units are very spacious and VERY well maintained. This is one of the cleanest units I have ever stayed in (and I travel quite a bit!). No wi-fi was unfortunate (especially for anyone working remotely) but otherwise, this is a great resort in the perfect location. You can cross-country ski right out of your door! The staff is very conscious of COVID safety, which is appreciated (although it requires checking out 2 days earlier, unfortunately).

Good sized unit but very datedThe townhome was a good size but very dated as far as furnishings went. Seems the furniture and beds had to be at least 20 years old. Great location, convenient to skiing as well as restaurants and microbreweries. If you're going, bring your own pillows as those provided are not very comfortable.

AwefulStaff are unfriendly and grumpy. Units although large, are old, tired, uncomfortable and sometimes not even clean. We slept on old beds and sat in old, cheap furniture and there was no hair dryer or washer and dryer in the units like most RCI units. I was so disappointed with my booking that i am glad I only stayed a couple of days and not the entire week. The only thing the resort had going or it was the location and the actual size of the units which was ample.

A gem but needs WiFi and a bigger TVThoroughly enjoyed my time at the Village Green. Unit was surprisingly well kept and comfortable. One of my best RCI exchange experiences to date. Fantastic gas fireplace and spacious unit. Slept four adults 4 very comfortably. Kitchen was perfect for the week. Drawbacks - ridiculously small TV and no WiFi - sad these are basic amenities ownership should invest in. Verizon service was strong enough to run a a wifi hotspot. AT&T did not work inside the unit.
