  Extraordinary views!

  This is a beautifully decorated home with exceptional views of the Columbia River. We loved walking on the beach and having coffee on the balcony. The hosts were extremely knowledgeable about the fascinating area and we enjoyed learning so much. The room was comfortable and was nicely decorated. The only disappointment to our stay was the less than average breakfast...not the exceptional fare one usually expects in a B&B of this caliber/price.

  Wonderful

  This is a "must visit" place. It is beautiful & has a beautiful view. It is very, very clean. The owners are very accommodating & friendly. We were traveling from Oregon to Washington, & it was a convenient stop.

  Great place for wind sports as well as couples!

  A friend and I were going windsurfing in the area and were a little concerned that this was a "couples only" place to just sip wine and look at the view. We were wrong! Joan & Richard were super welcoming and they have 300' of private, sandy beach with a huge lawn you can drive down to. We had a couple of great days windsurf foiling without ever having to move the gear. Their beach is on the WA side across from Jones and just a little east of "the alley". They even brought us a pizza on their way back from town and we had dinner on the lawn! To be fair, it IS a beautiful place to be romantic, sip wine and look at the view, but there is a lot more. Rooms were nice, beds comfy, and breakfast both days hearty & delicious. If you are a windsurfer/foiler/kiter with a non-sailing spouse, this could be a huge win.

  Amazing views and service

  My wife and i spent the last night of a 10 day Oregon/Washington trip here and were amazed at the quality of the villa, the outstanding views, and the friendly proprietors, Joan and Richard. the accommodations and service were of the highest quality of anyplace I've stayed, and i can't say enough about the views of the Columbia river and the beauty of the vistas. it is rather remote, so be prepared for a drive to and from, but well worth it for a relaxing respite from a busy trip

  Relaxing two days

  My husband and I visited The Villa for a 2 night stay in August and had such a great time! The villa itself is beautiful, but my favorite part of the house was their outdoor terrace overlooking the river. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the owners are so kind and friendly. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We enjoyed walking along the beach and while there were other guests there, we had the beach completely to ourselves- such a treat! We would highly recommend a visit for a relaxing getaway.
