    Please do not visit

This place is a real dump. First of all, there is no View of anything except an under construction so called lodge. I wouldn't let my dog sleep there. The very small handwritten sign should've been my first give away that this place is a nightmare. We got out of the taxi puzzled, when our driver said it's new. Well it's new alright. The whole front part of the building is unfinished with just raw concrete and no windows or doors. There are two 70's style old vintage couches at the front patio hanging in between the outside and the inside of the lodge. On a third mismatched vintage couch was a little boy laying sleeping on the couch. We were pleasantly greeted by a woman in shorts and flip flops clutching a wallet to her breast. As we passed the grocery store items in shopping bags and cleaning sprays on the desk. She told us to get our luggage and took us to two rooms. She handed us keys and didn't even check us in at the desk sitting in the unfinished concrete entry way. We opened the room and I gasped for air because, it's totally not what she represents in her photos. The room is large and the head board way larger than the bed. The sheets had stains and there wasn't a blanket, duvet, or a comforter. The towels rolled on the bed were white, stiff, old and looked dirty. There was no mosquito netting, no air conditioning and the sliding glass door leading to the bar, look tampered with. There was only a floor fan. She said she would return to spray the room at night before we went to bed. The bathroom was just as bad. There was exposed television wiring and the cable box and telephone were on the floor because there were no night stands. My friends room was just as bad, he went to put his bag in the closet and found Cheetos all over the floor. Needless to say we left. I prepaid this room for two days, but I didn't care, I left and went to another hotel. Whatever you do please don't go there. Don't know why this is a three star hotel per hotels.com because it doesn't meet the star rating requirements. You don't have to believe me read the reviews on hotels.com if you want. Her pictures are a big lie, that's probably her master bedroom that's shown on the site, the pictures are not contractually binding, quick run the other way from this place!!!

    False advertisement in all websites

If you are looking for a safe, comfortable and clean place to spend your holiday, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE, we booked thru expedia for two nights stay based on photos and star ratings, ( I actually requested the Cresta Spray view Hotel but for some reason this was the hotel I was redirected to) but anyway, this hotel was unsafe with no sliding doors locks, no mosquito nets on a mosquito infested area of the continent, dirty closets as you can see on the picture full of cheetos, and no air conditioning on the rooms in a place where the temperatures runs in the high 90's, needless to say we left the hotel and booked in another location. Don't be fooled by the photos and the star ratings because you will be disappointed.

    Terrible - false advertisement

Sad to say that the picture depicted of this lodge portray a beautiful place, however, this is a dump in construction. The room are badly finished. Steps are not even. Big empty rooms without furnishings. Claim that there was internet. It only worked when you were in the dining area - poor. SAVE SELF TIME AND PAY MORE MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Nothing like advertised would not recommend

I stayed there for 3 nights and only had one hot shower as there is one geyser split between all the rooms. I ordered dinner and waited 2 hours and 20 minutes for my food. When they brought my food, it was cold as it has been standing there for a while. They are also still building the place, so during the day there is no peace and quiet. Luckily they do not proceed at night. Everything is full of dust and untidy. There are no air cons in the rooms, only fans, which makes quite a noise but cannot sleep without the fans being on. There are no burglar bars at the window, and the window cannot lock, which some people might find to feel unsafe. The beds do not have fitted sheets, just a normal sheet which disappear with one turn and then you sleep on the bare mattress. I was repeatedly asked for a tip at check out which made me uncomfortable.

    Dont Do It

This lodge is an abandoned construction site. I couldn't even call it a backpacker lodge or even a functional business. Some rooms have been barely finished enough to be rented out. No a/c. No mirror in washroom. No plumbing to the bathtub. No hot water almost the entire stay I was there. Furniture looks like it was picked up off the side of the road. Food and beverage was not available short of someone going to town to get it which took at least an hour often longer. When we did get food the price was laughable. I would only stay here again if I had no desire for basic comfort and the room was $20 a night. My final impression is that this was a property taken on by a family with no means to finish it or run it. It's actually bad enough that I'd hold sites like TripAdvisor and Expedia accountable for even allowing its existance on their platforms. PS there is no view of anything.
