  Cracking stay

  Rooms, staff and breakfast were all top notch. Would definitely stay here again. This hotel is a well oiled machine! Every where was spotlessly clean - all Covid rules in place. Didnt want to go home.

  Excellent.

  Great room, great service and excellent breakfast. Room looked out over the sea and had two balconies. Breakfast was served quickly and was great quality. Service everywhere was first class and car was parked no more than 10 yards away.

  Bliss by the Sea

  I stayed at The View partly for a long weekend and partly to escape my flats for some of the recent half-term. I actually stayed in one other hotel for the Saturday night because The View had no availability for the Saturday. I am so glad that I spent the majority of my stay at The View. All of the staff I encountered were professional, friendly and helpful. It seems to me a very well run hotel. The cleanliness was generally very good. I only noticed one oversight; the key card slot in my room was a bit dusty. I had a single sea view room, for a single room it was a very decent size, I loved the balcony space, great to have in that setting. My only gripe about the room is that for a single bed, it was definitely on the small side of the single bed scale. But it was comfortable enough and the room overall more than made up for that. They very kindly accommodated me on two occasions by serving me breakfast in my room when I had originally intended to have it in the restaurant. Because I was working there for part of the week they also accommodated me by allowing me to use my room for a little longer on check-out day due to a last minute meeting for work. Unfortunately, the meeting rooms were all booked up at that time - Danyal thank you for that huge favour, you're a star. Also the man who helped to clean my chair of seagull deposits! when I checked in was lovely too - I'm sorry I don't remember his name now but thank you so much. I really look forward to returning The View, it's a great hotel with great staff.

  Lovely hotel and friendly staff

  I stayed here for four nights recently with my wife. I had booked via an internet site and on discovering we didn't have a sea view the hotel staff arranged a transfer to another room with balcony for a very reasonable upgrade fee. The staff seemed to be taking the social distancing regime very seriously and handled everything efficiently and helpfully - and with a smile. Breakfast was very pleasant too. The whole experience was a pleasant one and we will return.

  Lovely service from Ronnie and staff at the Vista lounge. Most attentive and accommodating. Atmosphere and ambience were ideal and we enjoyed the lunch very much. Well done to you all at this most difficult time.
