  fue realmente una experiencia muy agradable ... nunca me había imaginado que en el Medio Oriente puedo encontrar a un hombre marroquí que pueda hablar y explicarme todo en español ... ese hombre especial ..youssef essanhaji ... fue muy agradable conmigo ... y él fue realmente muy generoso con la información que me dio sobre el lugar ... sofitel jeddah cornish ... estaba orgulloso de trabajar allí. Nunca dudaré en volver a ese lugar tan pronto como Puede y tiene tiempo.

  Has everything to be one of the best, but not there yet

  One positive thing I'd like to start with is this hotel's attention to disabled people. There are bathrooms fitted for people with special needs, and the facilities are friendly to them, which is commendable. The hotel has everything to make it an excellent place: The location, decor, rooms, facilities, but it lacks much in services and maintenance. The plumping is horrible as one can see in flooding wash basins. Some showers don't have curtains or glass doors so you could end up with a pool in the room. Service is slow, though the staff is friendly.

  Hotel has been through its third management company after Westin , Sofitel and now privately operated it has a great corniche location for walking close to the sea lovely buffet food great room service but it cheap

  The Venue hotel Jeddah

  Really poor hotel to stay in - but lets start with the positive: the restaurant was uninspiring but ok. The rest: internet slow or broken (in a conference hotel!), the hotel was a building site with building materials left everywhere and few lifts working. They take your money on arrival which is never a good sign. The physical finish of the fittings was SO poor like some Chinese building company had built the hotel in 24 hours with no snagging. In my room the plug hole was cut twice into the ceramic in two different places. The reception guys really could not care less.

  Great location but hotel is problematic

  Was here for a week long event so I got to experience the hotel from accommodation, catering to event facility. The arrival was reasonable with only minor confusion, I can tell I was dealing with someone new to the process but no complains overall. The room (suite) was spacious and overall in decent aesthetic condition but that was the end of the honeymoon feel to the room. I then had encountered a few challenges with the room, 1. power plugs are spaced far out in the room, this is clearly before the age of electronics. Good luck charging stuff bedside. 2. Cold water. I had to endure 2 full days of cold showers as water heater is broken. 3. Internet was not available for 2 days of the stay across the hotel (event space included). Not acceptable in modern day accommodations globally. When it was available the speed was OK, I speedtest'ed up to about 2Mb/s during the lowest season there is. The location of the hotel is great, you are right on the Corniche. If you can score the better rooms, it should have decent view. The food at this hotel is reasonable and comparable to others in the region, possibly lower than 5 star rating but definitely acceptable. The buffet restaurant has an acceptable level of varieties (not as good as other 5 star in region) and there is no rotation so everyday is the same but overall it's decent. Room service has good varieties and service was fast and taste + portion was good. Given the price and quality, there are better choices in Jeddah.
