  Hotel faulty towers

  The staff give good service overall. But the hotel is in need of some serious repairs. The rooms had no heating not very clean. I would not recommend this at all. I had no heating no chair to sit on, there was no wardrobe to hang my clothes on. I just had to keep them in my suitcase.

  Get what you pay for

  This hotel was very cheap £60 for 2 nights, but definitely get what you pay for. We were kindly upgraded to the bigger suite so had choice of beds and good size kitchen. However, no heating at the end of October is a bit of a nightmare, freezing. Also lacked mugs, only 2 in a 5 bedroom apartment. But great location. Right on sea front and good views

  National Holidays break - truly awful.

  Visited the Sun Hotel last weekend. If we had travelled by car we wouldnt have spent one night there. Dirty toilet - which we had to ask 4 times to be cleaned. Shower grubby. No chair in bedroom. Appalling meals - which we had to pre order the day before, all food frozen with pre-sliced bought-in meat, very little cooked from scratch on site. No vegetarian options - we were offered chicken Kiev. Comment from staff -vegetarian? We dont get many of them here!. Wardrobe in one room was a hook on the door with two wire coat hangers on it. On arrival, staff said they were going shopping to buy the food for tea (dinner) took 45 minutes to serve all guests with their main courses. Breakfast reasonable. Dodgy, unpredictable lift that only goes to second floor and only takes two people at a time. I was on the third floor, but could not get any help to take my case up. I now see this place is up for sale, but am disgusted that National Holidays use it at all. I would never return to this hotel.

  Can't sleep until after midnight

  Room not bad,the staffs friends all use the bar on an evening and sing on the karaoke until midnight.Guests not welcome,felt intimidating.Beds were not made and no clean towels,wouldn't stay here again

  Expected better :(

  Only good thing really was the loft room which really is lovely, the layout and everything was worth it, just a shame that it wasnt very clean, had lovely windows to look out over beach but dont think they had ever been cleaned! Was young staff in there which might be the reason why the cleanliness isnt up to scratch, which is a shame really :(
