DreadfulAfter a long day traveling we arrived at the summit to a very disappointing entrance which included a power tower & watertank. There is no one on site so be prepared to find your own way around. We helped a gentleman who came along after us to find his room. The place is very cold and uninviting. We were given 'apartment 2', which was way too small for 3 adults and one child. We tried to contact owners to make sure we had right room and to at least see if we could get 2 more chairs so the 4 of us could sit down, we left a message on their phone & they did not bother to get back to us for the duration of our stay there. There was no lounge or dining chairs, just a very small table and 2 patio chairs that were placed in the bedroom. No outlook, only to communal clothesline! As there was no cover over our entrance, there was nowhere to wipe our feet or leave our shoes so apartment was always wet and dirty. The washing up cloths were filthy and had been used many times before. Teatowels were very worn & stained. Cutlery & plates dirty. The mattresses on the bunk beds were like sleeping on a slab of timber. It was certainly not worth the $190 a night we paid. The only positive about this place was the view from the b&b verandah.

False advertisingOk the good stuff first it has great views of Atherton and a good looking home in its day. You will be pushed to find the rainforest it has some scrub around it and a huge big telecommunications tower right there. There is no welcome from the owner you get a code to access a key drop which if I had known I wouldnt have booked. It has cctv watching you having breakfast or sunbathing if I had known I wouldnt have booked. We had booked a room with private bathroom what we got was the pantry room which wasnt much more in size to a pantry with the smallest window,so it was dark with a kids dbl bed with a bunk on top for our bed , the private bathroom was in a common area that all the other people can see you every time you go to the bathroom. This was also supposed to be a b&b we had booked 6 b&b on this trip and on 5 of them we got a home cooked breakfast from the owner ,but not here you get toast or cereal that you make yourself. Now when we phoned the owner about not liking the room without a bathroom she said thats ok just pay $30 extra and get a room upgrade, as for wifi thats a extra as well

Not goodWe booked "The Majestic " room...well..there was nothing majestic about it. The view was lovely but that was it. The accommodation was very, very dated and basic. We had a split king size bed, one basic chair and an old wooden fold out table in our room. There was no air conditioning. The kitchen area was once again very dated and provided breakfast was terrible. Stale bread, and individual jam packets, some cereals milk and juice. No fruit, no extras. We ate at the fold up plastic tables on the verandah. Save your money...go elsewhere.
