HIghly recommendedThe Steading is situated in a beautiful location in rural Perthshire with views towards the hills beyond. It is a new build but features traditional materials and build with attention to detail such as a loggia for relaxing in with outdoor tables and chairs. There are lots of little touches with known brands such as the White Company and Anta. Fresh garden flowers in the bathroom were also a delightful touch. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served, eg fruit combinations of melon and mint and fresh raspberries served in heart shaped bowls. Sarah, the owner was delightful and very informative regarding local places of interest. There was also a fridge in the room and cafetiere with delicious Glenlyon roasted Coffee. Underfloor heating and super comfy beds add to the comfort of this gem of a place. The Steading is contemporary with a traditional twist and I ca't wait for another escape to this bolthole !

Autumnal stayWe stayed here for three nights in late September. Sarah Jane and Will are lovely hosts, very conscientious of the COVID-19 guidelines but still balancing friendly hospitality. There is an excellent choice for breakfast, between the Full Monty to delicious waffles. The extra touches in the room are welcome - from the milk in the fridge to the Glen Lyon coffee. It was fantastic to have an outdoor seating area despite it being quite chilly in the evening. We were delighted with the ease of access to local walks from The Steading.. both in the hills behind the house and also the easily accessible walk to Aberfeldy along by the river. And of course the deer in the adjoining fields are a welcome bonus!

A B&B that's an absolute gemI had the pleasure of staying at the Steading B&B for two nights in late September 2020. This B&B is a real gem. It is about three miles outside of Aberfeldy in a quiet rural spot. My room - Steading 2 - was finished to a very high standard, simply decorated and with a TV, kettle, and bundle of lovely fluffy White Company towels. The bathroom had a huge walk in shower and nice toiletries and fresh flowers were a tasteful addition. The hosts are very conscious of the Covid-19 guidelines and there was non-contact arrival and communication via text message. My welcome the next morning at breakfast could not have been nicer; Will is an excellent host. My breakfasts during my stay were really good. The mint infused fresh fruit salads were delicious, and other choices included a full Scottish breakfast, Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon, pastries and toast. I had a really special birthday staycation and I can't wait for another stay.

3 night stay in The Store! The Steading is located in a tranquil and relaxed setting just outside Aberfeldy. My husband and I stayed in the store which is a spacious room with its own private entrance away from the main house. The room offers good amenities, lovely views and thoughtful touches. A array of continental breakfast supplies are left for you to prepare as well. (There is a microwave and mini-fridge, but no hobs) and the complimentary whisky was enjoyed by my husband. I do think its worth noting that as the store is located directly below the loft noise from guests moving around above us was noticeable at times. In addition to b&b we took advantage of the 3 course meal served inside the main house one evening. The menu was well-thought-out and the food is delicious. Wills service was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed exploring Aberfeldy and its surrounds, which are especially beautiful during the autumn months. Special thanks to Sarah Jane & Will for their hospitality during these challenging times for us all.
