    Very nice, conveniently located hotel

I stayed here for two nights in October. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to USJ and a five minute walk to multiple shops and restaurants. It was very easy to take the train from Osaka station to this hotel. Check-in was fast and easy. The hot spring on the top floor was very very nice and I was able to spend time there during both nights of my stay. The hot spring closes fairly early in the morning so don't plan to go there after breakfast. I requested late check out at 12pm (normal check out time is 11am) but was told that to stay an extra hour it would cost an extra 2,000 JPY. I decided to just check out at the normal time of 11, however it would have been nice to get a free option for late check out. The room and bathroom were very nice, and our room had a great view of the river. If you are going to splurge on your trip to USJ, this is a very nice and convenient place to stay.

    very good location

If you want to visit USJ, this hotel is the right choice because it is located in the USJ area by walking and close to the JR Line station, restaurants, shops, you don't need to go anywhere if you already live in this place. The hotel also has a foreign exchange machine in the lobby. You can leave your suitcase if it's not time to check in or check out.

    Paper Thin Walls!

My cousin and I decided to stay at this hotel for 2 nights during our visit at USJ. The hotel is basically right on top of the the train station. For less than 100/night, the location is fantastic if you are visiting USJ. However, if you are looking to get some rest after a long day at USJ, I recommend that you seek another accommodation elsewhere. There is no sound proof in this hotel, so unless you stay on the highest floor or have quiet neighbors, you can pretty much hear everything between pounding steps and doors closing/opening late evenings and early mornings. The check-in process was smooth but you do need to pick out your amenities at the lobby. They provide toothbrush in the room but thats it. You can buy coffee if you need it at a convenient store just down the road. The sound poof is non existent..I was hearing my upstairs neighbor footsteps and TV till late in the night. When I call the front desk and ask if they could send someone over, the attitude was fairly rude. For a Japanese hotel, I was pretty surprise by their attitude. I used both English and Japanese, and I was floored by their short responses. They did send someone over to speak to my upstairs neighbor (I can hear the door opening) but the noise only stopped after they went to bed. I dont fault the guests but I think the hotel really needs to do something about the noise. The room was clean and bed was huge. Overall, it was a nice room with adequate amenities given the cost. There is no safe in the room, which wasnt a problem for me but might be for some whos carrying passports and valuable items. All in all, It was fine for the price we paid, but if you are dishing out more than 150/night, I think you can find much better accommodations elsewhere.

    Location

Stayed for one night and chose this because of 1) a really low price due to a campaign, 2) its convenient location to USJ. The hotel is just 5 seconds away from the train station and you can leave your baggage before check in and after check out. Rooms are great, slightly more spacious than the normal Japanese hotel room. We had a room on a low floor, and didnt have the best view of the river, but good enough. Who needs the room view anyway when you are gonna be at USJ the entire day. The selling point of this hotel is probably their sky spa (onsen bath at the top floor). The outdoor bath was nice, but probably due to the timing, there was alot of construction noise being heard and wasnt as relaxing as expected. Also, there are ALOT of kids at the sky spa (cant be helped i guess as its near a theme park). But the kids were mostly running around and even spotted a kid with a toy water gun, it felt like a public pool and that wasnt pleasant at all. Try to aim for the early morning times instead of night- especially just right after the park has closed. Reception was efficient, polite and they show the opening hours and closed attractions for the day at USJ in the lobby, that would help those who are heading to USJ and need some information I guess.
