  A very popular pub/hotel

  Had a three night stay in this lovely B and B/hotel/pub. Room was clean, a good size with en suite. COVID rules applied and were adhered to. Breakfast good. Meals in the evening were pub style. Popular with locals and visitors alike. Highly recommend the Silverdale for a visit to this amazing area of UK.

  Incredible!

  Stayed here with my wife the night before our wedding and it was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and the rooms were a fantastic mix of modern and quaint- bathroom suite was like new and whole room was spotless. Amazing view of the bay-We're already planning our next trip!

  Another fabulous visit

  Thank you again for another fantastic stay. Also a huge thanks to ALL the lovely staff there. Food fantastic as always and we're missing those fabulous breakfasts already. Really set us up for a day out and about. Rooms lovely and clean and very cosy. Food locally sourced so we called in at the local butchers in Silverdale to bring some of those fantastic sausages back with us. Look forward to staying again soon.

  Hospitality at its best

  Wonderful family run hotel and a great pub restaurant. I stayed here twice and I will definitely come again and again. Caroline and Richard are great hosts. While running the hotel smoothly they also make you feel special with their welcoming and friendly manner. Stuff are all lovely and professional. Special thanks go to Shelley and Lea for their warm conversations. I stayed here on my own as I was doing my diving courses but I never felt alone. Rooms are warm, spacious, comfortable and clean. There is TV and kettle in the room which i found helpful after a long day diving. Breakfast is huge and dinners are yummy. Dinner menu is so good that it is difficult to choose among delicious dishes. I would particularly recommend the chicken, leek and tarragon pie and also the chickpea and spinach burger. Last but not least I must admit I was very satisfied with their Covid-19 set up. They are ultimately professional and the restaurant is very nicely spaced - this made me feel very safe during my stay. I would recommend this place very highly.

  Very enjoyable last minute break before lockdown

  My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in room 2 last Tuesday and Wednesday. This was our first visit and certainly won't be our last. What a fantastic hotel set in beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us albeit always sticking to strict Covid guidelines which we found very reassuring. As well as the breakfasts we had lunch and dinner at the hotel. The food was outstanding, was very tasty, well presented and the quality of the locally sourced ingredients was first class. Our room was spotless, very well equipped and comfortable and our overall enjoyable experience was a credit to the owners and all their staff. We have already recommended the Silverdale Hotel to our family and friends. We will definitely be back for another visit. Many thanks,,,,,,,Colin and Gill.
