  Great breakfast

  This is a lovely B&B. The owners are very friendly, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the breakfast delicious. Excellent location within a few blocks of downtown. Beautifully decorated home with lots of charm.

  LOVELY B&B, Delicious Breakfast

  We stayed here while attending a wedding nearby. The owners were very pleasant and take loving care of this historic home. Our room was decorated in antiques with a modern bathroom. Everything is neat and clean. Breakfast was a delicious treat! We definitely recommend the Silk Pincushion and will be back again!

  Amazing B&B

  This Bed & Breakfast is fantastic! The location is perfect and is within walking distance of all kinds of restaurants, shops, the Coors factory, and many beautiful hiking trails. The rooms were beautiful, decorated with quilts made by the hostess herself. Breakfast each morning was different, but it had qualities of a 5 star restaurant and the comfort of a home cooked meal. The owners are just amazing people. They told us about all the different things that we could do in Golden, CO and they just helped make our trip as memorable as it could be.

  Like Family

  In August of 2019, I stayed at The Silk Pincushion for two weeks. When it came time to leave, I actually felt sad. It was as if I were saying goodbye to family. I am a government employee who was looking for a place that came in under my per diem, which is why I chose this B&B. Once there, I was absolutely delighted with the gracious hospitality of the owners, the charm of the accommodations, and the superb meals. I have stayed in many, many B&Bs in my time, and the food at this one was the best I have ever eaten. It was better than what I would expect from a high-end restaurant that specialized in breakfast foods. The owners were even kind enough to serve me early, as I had early morning appointments during the time that I was there. The location was fantastic, only blocks away from downtown Golden, yet it was quiet in my room. I was made to feel like family here and enjoyed the company of the owners during breakfast or in the afternoon as they sat on their porch. If I ever return to Golden, I will be sure to stay with my extended family at The Silk Pincushion.

  THE BEST BED AND BREAKFAST IN GOLDEN, COLORADO

  Dennis and Judy were the BEST host/hostess we ever came across! They were so accommodating, warm, and inviting! The house was perfect! Meticulous! Extremely clean! You could eat off the floors! The decor was magnificent! Dennis just finished his picture books of the history of Golden! So interesting! Judy makes amazing quilts! So talented! And her breakfast was over the top! Baked apples, fresh homemade scones, eggs, and bacon!!! It was great to sit and talk over breakfast! The atmosphere was so warm! ....Maggie, where do I begin??? What a beautiful cat! She just put the finishing touch on everything!!! Thank you again for a welcoming and relaxing time!!!
