tranquilo e intimoMuy lindo e intimo.

Perfect place to stay¡Llegamos jueves y nos fuimos domingo, y no queríamos irnos! Trato excelente, personal amable y muy atentos, predispuestos a ayudar. Las habitaciones son grandes, algunas disponen de terraza y el lugar es maravilloso. Hay un parque muy cerca, y si viajas con niños es perfecto.

One nightA nice hotel restaurant on an exceptional spot in the middle of the forest close to Esch Alzette. Quiet, clean, very friendly staff. Nothing missing to spend some exceptionel and quiet moments and to relax after the daily stress. I will definitively recommend this place as everything included the price is more than ok.

Front Desk Lied; No Air Conditioning; Not What is Depicted On WebsiteWe arrived to The Seven Hotel around 6:00 pm. This hotel is definitely remote, in the middle of the woods. While this would have been fine, we were told upon check in that from 11:00 pm-6:00 am there would not be anyone working at the hotel and we were given a code to get into the building if we walked outside. This was definitely a red flag. The location is somewhat remote, so if ANYTHING happens after 11:00 pm where you need assistance, you're screwed? Next red flag is that my credit card was charged at check in. I travel all over the world and hotels never charge your card for the stay until after you check out. Yes, they usually put a hold/authorization on your card for incidentals, but not the whole charge up front. I questioned this and was told that it was necessary. The woman at the check in then took us to the 4th floor to our room. When she opened the door, it was as if we were walking into a sauna. The room was scorching! It was on the western side of the building, so the sun was beating into the room and the windows were not protected by anything to help with the heat. The woman left and we immediately went to cool down the room only to discover there was no air conditioning. I take blame for not realizing this upon booking. However, the website for this hotel is extremely fancy and modern. The images of the rooms, the restaurants, the spa, etc. would give no reasonable person any indication that this hotel would not have air conditioning. As to the room itself, it looked nothing like the images on the website! The room looked like a college dorm room at best. I have searched the website and reviews on here for a picture of a room that looked like what we were given and nothing looks anywhere close to what we received. So on top of the room being extremely hot (and no fan available), the room was very outdated and basic. Once we realized there was no air conditioner, I went downstairs to see if we could switch rooms. I was told that the hotel was fully booked. I then politely said that if that was the case, unfortunately we were not going to be able to stay. After I said that, she told me there was a room on the 1st floor she could show me that wasn't in direct sunlight, even though 30 seconds ago the whole hotel was fully booked??? She showed me that room and while it wasn't in direct sunlight, it was still very warm. I told her I'd check with my friend and get back to her. My friend and I decided to look for another hotel because it would have been truly unbearable to sleep in a room that was over 80 degrees (over 27 degrees Celsius). We got on hotels.com and found another hotel which was actually 10 euros cheaper, for a larger room with A/C. I went back down to tell the woman that we were not going to be able to stay because it was too hot. She THEN said she had a portable A/C unit that she could bring to the room. I told her that I already booked a new hotel because she didn't mention that earlier. She told me she could call the new hotel and ask them to refund me. I asked her if she could just refund me since we had been there a total of 8 minutes and had not touched a thing in the room. She said that wasn't possible since we already checked in. I told her that I found that unreasonable, especially since she had not been honest with me from the get go (claiming they were fully booked, saying there was no fan, not telling me about the portable A/C until we said we were leaving). She basically said there was nothing she could do and that was it. We took our bags and left, and the charge for $147 cleared on my card a day later. So just a fair warning to anyone who may look at this hotel on the great website they've created: 1. The rooms do not look like the photos on the website. 2. No one works at the hotel from 11:00 pm-6:00 am, so pray nothing goes wrong overnight. 3. There is no air conditioning, so if it is warm outside, your room will be 10 times hotter. 4. The staff will tell you one thing and then change their tune seconds later. 5. You really are in a remote location in the woods. While it may look nice from the outside, it felt unsafe knowing that no one would be working overnight if there was any issue. The prices are also higher than hotels of nice quality in the area. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere and saving yourself any possible issues.

Amazing view.. but no air conditioning! Do not recommend during summer. We had the suite for a weekend, the views from the bedroom are truly amazing! The room is comfortable but could have an update in the living room. It was a hot summer day (36 degrees) and to my surprise the room had no air conditioning! I did not check it before booking, but for me such a modern 4 star hotel should have one or at least offer a solution. For its price it was the least I expected. I asked the reception if they could borrow us a portable air conditioning and they said they would look if there was one available. The receptionist did not seem much concerned about it and I have my doubts she even looked for it. When we asked her again, she said that they could not borrow any because of corona measures (which honestly I do not understand). We also had other questions and the receptionist was not very helpful. Overall it was a good stay because of the view. We would maybe come back in another time of the year.
