    Beautiful

I turned up extremely late and completely unexpected. As I was desperate to get out of a hell-hole (The Inglewood Seafront Hotel) I did not check the policies of this guesthouse which clearly states they do not accept check-ins after 8pm because of problems they've had in the past. That, however, did not stop eBookers from processing the booking at 10.30pm. Anyway, thankfully the owner was still awake and after I explained my previous nightmare situation she showed me to a sweet little room. Bliss! In the morning with no prompting from me, she kindly offered me a larger room! And oh boy!! What a stunning room!! Absolutely beautiful!! Spotlessly clean, beautiful comfy bed, tea making facilities, television and a brilliant shower. Everything was so clean and fresh. The landlady insisted I had breakfast and because I only had toast she didn't charge me. A beautiful and very traditional little b&b situated in the quieter part of Blackpool North but still near the sea. If I go back to Blackpool I'll definitely be going to the Sandalwood. Incidentally, I was in Room 2, the family room which has two bedrooms with a door for privacy and beautiful bunk beds for the kids. There's even a little sink in there too. Perfect!

    Traditional clean hotel

We booked this accomdation as a family with our 8 month old through booking.com and was not notified that they did not accept babies under 3. We were lucky that there were no other guests and were able to stay anyway but did feel like we couldn't relax just incase our baby made too much noise (which she didn't). We had a family room which was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was a little on the small side but manageable. Breakfast included cereals, fruit juices, hot drinks and a cooked breakfast. Margaret also catered for our 8 month old and was very accomdating. Overall a pleasant stay but feel it needs to be made more clear on all websites that under 3s are not catered for.

    Good friendly place to stay

We booked this B&B as we were staying in Blackpool for 2 nights. It's located a bit further north from the hussle and bussle of the centre, close to the seafront. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. We had room number 2. It's two bedrooms divided by a hallway/walkway. Main room has large king size bed, small sofa, tea/coffee making facilities, small tv and en-suit shower and toilet. The room was very clean and fresh. Decor was a good standard. The second room had bunk beds with a built in cupboard and sink and in a good clean standard. The beds were comfortable and I had no issues sleeping. I only just remembered but the shower could do with a pinch more power, however, it still did it's job. The owners are new and only been on for approximately 2 weeks. They were very helpful, polite and will help with anything. Just ask. We had breakfast, good food, we had the full English and it was lovely. Would we stay again? Yes, no problems at all. Bye guys Top tips * Ring direct for advanced information on booking * Currently excepting only cash as waiting for card facilities to become available * Taxi to town is about £5.00 one way, trams are close by, walking to town is about 20 mins.

    Great Short Break

Stayed here a couple of weekends ago. Very clean and comfortable. Owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Fantasic breakfast catering for all your needs and flexible each morning. The place is a little out of the way of the main town but this is a good thing as a good nights sleep can be had. Still only a short walk to the north pier though. Will defo be back. Thanks guys. x ps - the question on trip advisor "Is there a bar/lounge" - Not yet but they're working on it. :-)

    Clean, comfortable, traditional B&B

The property was absolutely immaculate. We had arrived early by train, we called to ask if we could leave our bags so we could have a walk down the promenade. Mark took our bags in for us. We returned to check in later and we were shown to our room, our bags placed in there ready for us. The bed was really comfortable with fluffy pillows and a warm duvet cover. We slept really well. The temperature in the room was perfect. The bathroom was spotless with some toiletries provided, which you wouldnt expect for such a cheap price. Towels were soft and fluffy. We opted to have breakfast, it was really nice and I was able to request eggs cooked to my preference. In a good location, about a ten minute walk to the tower and a fifteen minute walk to Blackpool North station A warm and friendly stay at this immaculately clean, traditional B&B and we would definitely stay again when we return to Blackpool! Mark and Vanessa were the perfect hosts!
