  Very disappointing

  As an owner in Sand Pebbles for 10-years I was very disappointed with the service, cleanliness, and condition of the unit. Furniture was dirty, stove was unreliable and we had to have maintenance return several times to make it work. Items previously available in the units had been removed because of "Covid". Bathroom floor had toenail clippings and long strands of hair. Routine mid-week cleaning was no longer available and we were given instructions where to find the vaccuum cleaner. Linens and towels were delivered in a plastic bag for us to replace. The lack of customer service and the somewhat hostile attitude of the staff was the worst part of this stay.

  Nov. 10, 2020 - Nobody is answering the phone. Website does not work!

  I am an owner at the Sand Pebbles Resort and I cannot reach the resort by phone or email. I do not know if they are open. They have a reservations email address on their recorded phone line but the woman says the address so quickly I cannot write it down after 2 phone calls. The staff are not returning phone calls. I realize there is a pandemic but surely the staff could return phone calls safely and improve the website by stating what is happening and how staff can be reached. I have paid maintenance fees and I wonder where that money is being spent.

  Safe, sane and beautiful

  Along the coast their are beautiful views, pleasant hikes, nice restaurants and do NOT miss a chance to visit the Torrey Pines coastal area. We were there during the Pandemic lock down, the staff made it safe and clean for all.

  We would come again

  The most important "review" we can give is whether we would come again......and we would. This is a nice place and we have enjoyed our stay. Well maintained units, good amenities, full kitchen, soft beds, excellent pillows, big shower. All fine with us. Places like this is why we like RCI, we get full value for exchanging with our home resort.

  Superb timeshare property

  I have visited Sand Pebbles twice in the last 9 weeks. Firstly at the beginning of October and then the week after Thanksgiving. The last two reviews denigrating the property are nonsense. Sand Pebbles is awesome. The unit was absolutely spotless both times. Everything you possibly need for a place near the beach is provided. Parking is easy and check in is simple and very efficient during these difficult Covid 19 times. The staff are very accommodating and are available when necessary. Indeed I called maintenance just once and the extremely nice gentleman helped me with the cable tv. He turned up five minutes after I called reception and dealt with my problem in 30 seconds! Five days before my visit, I called to request a second floor apartment at the back of the property and I was given exactly that. Excellent customer service. In addition, I left some clothes after I left. I called to ask management to find and store them for me. The telephone was answered immediately and Jay, the property manager sent my clothes by priority mail which arrived five days later. Brilliant customer service. The entrance (steps) to the beach is approximately a two minute walk from the back of the property. So so convenient and it is a beautiful beach. The pool area is very clean indeed with nice furniture to lounge in. In a time when privacy and distancing is so important, this property and its staff are doing all of the right things. If you just want to relax, go to the beach, and feel safe leaving home, stay at Sand Pebbles. It is great
